I think that's kind of the whole point. There are a lot of people that are NOT reserving judgement until we know more. Rather, this game is already being praised as the second coming of video game Jesus simply because Kojima is making it.

That isn't okay either. I'm a huge comicbook fan. I want my white characters played by white actors and my characters of race to be played by that race. Or at least a similar looking race with an actor that can pull off the character's race. For example, Storm is a black female from Africa. I realize not all black people are from Africa. But as long as they can get a black female that can pull off the accent, then it works.

They add them because people DO buy them. They wouldn't spend the time and money on coming up with content to sell if people weren't buying them and they were losing money on it. Bottom line is they make extra money.
The thing about Minecraft is that it never needs to have a sequel. What would a sequel do? Literally all of the game's charm is in its oldschool blocky graphics. So updating graphics isn't needed, or even wanted by anyone. Anything they would put into a Minecraft 2 keeps getting added to Minecraft 1. So there's no point in creating a whole other game.
