Hope you guys and gals enjoyed the review. When it comes to my " *FresH* " badge, I'm just walking closer to that of rottentomatoes.com when it comes to their aggregate reviews by critics.
I further seperate the Fresh/Rotten idea to Certified Fresh/Certified Rotten, also like that of RT. Please note, 9.0 doesn't = a *Certified FresH* badge; you may see my MW2 review as an example.
^That is a very good point. No one is absolutely objective when it comes to reviews, but it's safe to say they'll be fair enough to point out the flaws they have noticed. The real kicker is reading or carefully listening to the reviews.
I fail to see using a numerical score as "wrong". It's the over-examination of said scores by people that seems to be the problem. Real gamers rarely focus on scores as the sole judge as to whether or not they should buy the game. I see it as a culmination of these aspects (in order): Initial interest in the game, how much they prefer that genre, the game's main shines and smudges stated by the reviewer, and then grade.

You do realize the summary to this article calls it a "paint by numbers role playing game worsened by clumsy mechanics and lack of ambition", right? I really fail to see how you're able to dive into a review like this and say they call it a great game.

2. That doesn't seem to be the case for Kinect. If you saw their sub-par E3 performance, they mentioned upgrading Kinect to now enable finger tracking and making it closer to 1:1 . You can check out some older Kinect threads and they'll fill you in on certain Kinect features being improved upon.
Why do I see a "It's a 7 at worst" quote for basically every PS3 exclusive that receives a review score (whether once or on occasion) below a 7?

Keyword would be "was", not "is". Seeing the success it's had on iPhone + iPad, it would be cool to see this jump on XBLA and price it the same as Fruit Ninja Kinect.

Good to hear :). I find Warhawk to be an amazing game, and I'm sure Starhawk will follow suit, if not deliver more "awes" in my first 10 mins of playing it.

I'd add Warhawk to the list; game's basically the PS3's first "killer app", even though it may be a PSN/online-only title.
A bit of a questionable list when I see Bioshock 2 on the list. Granted it is at the bottom of the list, but I found to be underwhelming overall.
I personally don't think any of the main COD iterations suck, but you're going to be disappointed if you believe this is going to be the "second coming" (or an extravagent piece of a well-paced story for that matter). Still don't see what ALL of the hype was about for CoD4.
Kind of wished you stuck with the "dick-slapping with the vocab". Could have been some great gaming/psychology satire.
