When has unbalanced combat even been considered a small problem?
When watching the review, it seemed to be that he made the complaint when he was just trying to get out of dodge. If he tried to absorb power, he would be killed in the process.
I'm sure there's times during the game where absorbing power may not be a feasible option.
I'm guessing you think he knew how to play the game when he gave the first inFamous a 9 though, right?

Just because you haven't purchased any games since then, doesn't mean the 360 has had no "REAL games" since mid-'08.
This is a solid statement. What do "game breaking bugs and glitches" have anything to do with the Forza series?

ME2 is an RPG. Just because some old school gamers don't like terms like "visceral" or "fast-paced" in their RPG's doesn't make it any less of one.
It may have taken some enjoyable features (imo) from ME1 out, but it helped capitalize on other aspects of the game.

My fav. game's KOTOR so that's a bit unfair on my part :P. I think Silent Hill 2 should be a bit higher. Although this doesn't fit the title, KOTOR 2's plot twist was really good as well. Even though it was suspected by 99% of the people who played it, the scene played out to show an even deeper layer of *enter name here* and his/her deeper motives.
I'm much different than that when it comes to reviews. I normally implore people to focus on who I'd recommend it to rather than what the score may be. My scores are a bit more laid out like RottenTomatoes:
10.0-8.0: Wow, I can certainly recommend this game to almost anyone.
7.9-6.0: Although they may have a few pestering flaws, I can still recommend this for anyone a fan of this genre (or series).
5.9-4.0: This is where we ...
