We're talking about lamenting the guys who put the original BFIII developer under through sleazy schemes.
And I hate how everyone is misinterpreting the news. LA isn't shut down, it will still license franchises out to others.
This one looks better imo (although it doesnt' have the text).

The Behemoth is (currently) an independent developer.
Judging by what you've already stated below, it seems like you already decided which to be the case, instead of just providing another "possible" angle.
:D
If there's one criticism I have for the review it would be in the beginning. It seems like a huge oversight on your part to insinuate everyone who reads this became cool even though you assuredly must have anticipated me, the progenitor OF cool, to check out this review.
...But I'll forgive you this time.
Never heard/seen this title before. I'll check it out in the near future. :)

Same here. Although I thought certain changes in ME2 were for the better, ME1 was something else for it's time. Encapsulating a whole new sci-fi universe, exploration, music, etc. etc. The first ME book got me even more pumped for the game.
That's a fair point, I suppose. No one can technically be 'neutral' when it comes to PC/console preferences.
To be fair, it really is our fault for making the "I own X,Y,Z console" such a necessity when diving into any criticisms about any of them, depending on the site. It may be less frequent now (can't tell for sure), but the "you don't even own ______" used to be one of the easiest rebuttals made on here.
To be expected. He isn't always-on his best behavior here. :P
A believe a toast is in order...
To the 'always-on...the hunt for a new job' Adam Orth. Cheers.

I wouldn't go so far in regards to script and plot. In Uncharted 2's case, it's...rather trite (dozens of plot points can be found in TR2, in fact). Still a fun, well-paced ride but practically every villain in the series has been a typical one-dimensional, mustache-twirling archetype we've seen swirling about the industry.
I think the "influence" posters are contending here is in regards to gameplay, not naming a child or half-tuck/three-quarter tucked-in shirt styles(<-which we can all agree Drake was in fact the most influential in that regard).
Sheesh...the background music is louder than what he's stating at some points.
You didn't really need to clarify. I understood your statement, which is why I made mine, meant as an off-hand comment. Sure, if including spin-offs and one or two main ones, no one will say they're all good, but I honestly can't say I wouldn't recommend any of the main entries to a majority of people. My "other core gamer" portion is specifically talking about going against consensus' opinion of no real advancement, which I've talked about in previous CoD...
I lol'd at the Jeopardy comparison. An interesting blog noting problems I don't want to see repeated next generation (or at the very least to the same extent).
"Here's the thing, Call of Duty is an aberration, it flies in the face of everything core gamers would generally agree makes a good game."
I must be one of the "other" core gamers then.
Even after receiving the Golden Poo last year, EA has continued to practice a litany of anti-consumer ideas. Heck, look at their statement they just released on the win: they stipulate that 4chan and Gaf are pushing for them to win the big prize, not any average consumer. IF gamers actually wanted to make a statement they'd actually have to DO something besides complaining on the internet.
You don't even have to withhold from buying their titles altogether. If a ...
Confound it, how'd you get in again? I said no droids! :P
The Charizard one has to be my favorite.
