*THIS COMMENT DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS*
Pretty close to what I'd give it overall, but I honestly thought its ending was rather fitting. Leaving it open-ended as to how much time they would spend together before Riley turned seem to flow with the present-Ellie ending. I thought that enemy human vs. Infected vs. you was a great nuanced idea that can be built upon if a sequel was to be made. It reminded me of Alan Wake's DLC building upon one concept seen at the end of t...
I contend there actually is an objective, it's just not a "hand-holding" one like I mentioned in the review. Even though it's not clear at first, you do eventually discover there being a means to progress forward and an end to your trip.
My story's kind of similar to your own but instead bought the PC version (still want to measure the game against its original price though). It was definitely a fine timesink to see some mind-blowing stuff after a day&...
...and beyond!
Keep up the good work with your reviews. I haven't jumped into the game yet so I can't comment much about that.

Hope everyone enjoyed the review. Please feel free to leave any comments and/or questions in the comments section below.
Hope nobody minds me prying in the 'game/non-game' debate within this game review; then again, that section is more in line with the stuff criticism started out as anyways (<-hint for part of what my next blog will be covering).
Grabbed Fat Princess but am worried if anyone still plays that online.
That was kind of my takeaway from that non-subtitle portion as well and the only head-scratching part of this review.
You mean where the blogs/reviews are weighed to see which ones were the best for the month? That competition is still happening (notice the "rest of the Feb. contests part). This was just a fun distraction where early-birds got a raffle ticket per art, blog, and/or review submission between Feb. 1-13 and two winners were selected at random.
Thanks, Lost.
"...stop it! You're making the rest of us look bad. >:("
So I guess now would be a bad time to tell you I have another one almost ready to be submitted. ;)
Hope everyone enjoyed the review. Feel free to leave any questions or comments below. There are a couple things I'd like to point out:
-When it comes to tech issues, Compulsion has said they've cleaned out most of the bugs that were present at launch and, judging from my 2nd playthrough, most of the annoying ones seem to have been ironed out. Despite considering that, I still felt it necessary to focus more on when I initially played the game simply because it'...
"The one thing you miss is the fact the wii u gamepad had the possibility to allow gamers to play their wii u games on the go like Starbucks."
Yeah, I never specified that feature but that feature falls into my ever-so-vague "got me excited for 'next-gen'" part I made at the end. Seeing that mom and dad (or whomever they were) decide to take the TV and the Wii-U player just turned on his controller was one of the few "Oh...cool" moments ...
Much appreciated, memots. I'm going to say part of your comment is overselling it only because I'm confident you can articulate at least A subject like what I've done, probably even better.
I guess when it comes to this topic in particular, it's easy to just absorb a lot of different complaints, rationalizations, etc. about Nintendo that everything clicked for me.
"All your blogs are interesting and oh so well written."
...
Yay!
lol
I don't think it's that bad for user-submitted stuff, unlike some posters using PM to continually use the "I approved your article now do the same for me" reasoning when it comes to news articles.
Being a mod whose vote is all the you need to get to the front page, I don't like to take the opportunity away for normal contributors to read through this and give you their approve vote. If this festers for a couple more days, then I ...
Never got around to playing that one so that would be cool to see an HD remaster with cheevos and all the bells and whistles.
"I think there is a problem with how Nintendo handles their franchises. They find something that works, and then they turn on their heels and sprint in the other direction."
I guess they have a habit of not caring too much about the type of franchises where their Mii avatars or an unpopular character is involved, but my intention was speaking towards the majority of other ones people constantly bring up where the Pokemons, Mario, LoZ's, etc. keep coming down the...
Good review, Matty. Even with the reported fixes, I've never had that much of an interest in this series.
Love this old honest game trailer that released closer to its initial launch: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Don't you mean Pandamobile? [o_o]!
Making a correction for Cat and beating Lost again...this is just too much. :')
Seriously though, thanks for the prize and congratulations to all mentioned above.
