Great inspiration for Titan Souls to take from. Looks like a good, challenging title.
Probably a basket-weaving game. :P
Mr. Foster seems like an interesting chap. What I like the most is that from the very beginning the team had a singular design focus and just ran with it.
Solid interview.
I know pixel art has been overdone, unless you're looking through nostalgia goggles, but shoot... it's games like Titan Souls that really show how the scale, color coding, and the other minutia that can still make you say wow.
Very tempted to try this out, either with luck of a code or perhaps an Xbox One port down the road.
Wow...the CE, no less!
Gimme now!
^Dang it Sindo Clogs!
>:
Almost in the same tier as coolbeans. ;)
Love the name of the dev team. Surprised to see there's no hype behind the cat developer. DIVERSITY! :P
Hope this turns out to be a solid title.
Nice. Reminds me of an earlier 2015 release #IDARB. Nice write up.
Moar codes now!
Looks fun though.
Looks like a fun romp. Rougelikes haven't been my thing but who knows...maybe I can take a jump back in.
Wait..."Valentine" as first name and "Dessert" as part of your last name? You're just a few letters away from sounding like an oldies Bond Girl. :P
I'll admit that it's tough for me to get into rougelikes but the concept about how they're going to handle story sounds really, really interesting.
Never got around to playing Outland but I can see what you mean. Sorry this response is so late but only just stumbled upon it.
And now I'm tempted to go play Outland! XD
Yeah. In one part, it stinks b/c I'm getting less and less enthusiasm to make fun of Canada as time goes on. It's not fair! :'(
They're kicking some serious indie butt though. And Subaeria's just another reason to see why that's the case.
Another chance to win. I am awaken!
*Sprays chrome spraypaint around mouth*
Don't fret about it mrbojingles. It's a site issue they're trying to take care of right now since almost all the other pending submissions (and approved ones) have the same issue.
Interesting history tidbit at the beginning, Kyle.
Great to see such dedicated modders finally having the opportunity to flex their dev muscle like this.
"There are not many developers here in Croatia and those that are serious about it are met with prejudice and disapproval, mainly because games here are considered “toys” in a negative context. This resulted in many developers being forced to work out of their garages after they were done with their day jobs."
Now that really sucks. I remember a current or former (can't perfectly remember whom it was) ND member that had similar run-ins with his parents in Ameri...
Out of Croatia, eh?
Surprising change of location from all the recent Canadian devs on here.
Get this fella a medal.
