Yep. On top of that, Ben Archer is handling a lot of the managerial/financial aspects of it while also working on levels in the game.
Thanks.
Perhaps not as meaty as I could've guided the discussion in hindsight, but some interesting tidbits tucked away in there.
Special thanks to Ben Archer for taking time out of his schedule for the interview.
When in doubt, give out gift cards. :P
Props to that full length kickstarter vid too. You're starting to see more and more people trying to come up with some skit or joke to sell you on the idea.
I'd like to address that right now to say that it does. On IGN's PAX South 2015 youtube vid on it, that was actually how it was being played at the event. M/KB was my only option due to me not having any kind of controller adapter, being unfamiliar with that stuff, + having to write this up quickly.
Wow! From the interview to the simple Q+A stuff here, I have to say I'm quite impressed with all the information + background he's providing in comparison to the others.
(Not meant as a put-down to the others though. I don't want to give that impression.)
"In Titan Quest I had to personally battle to get the special epic and legendary side bosses put in because THQ looked at it and thought that the vast majority of people who buy the game are not going to get to experience them and why would we invest the effort in content that nobody is going to see. That’s the mentality you're going to battle in publisher driven development."
Seems to be a sentiment from indie developers I see/hear quite often. A lot of meat i...
Couldn't say I had much interest for this particular title, but how could you not after reading the first paragraph of herobyclicking's preview? :P Just epic.
It's also good to see Crate Entertainment are keeping up with updating the game.
Sounds like fun.
Grr...Foiled again! >:
So, not as mad as you want then. :P
Tempted to see the price point of Booo on mobile atm.
Agents Vs. Villains sounds more up my alley just from what I've gathered about its design.
Or more and more games get the censorship treatment in the likes of Australia.
Considering the amount of financial risk implementing innovative ideas that may not find an audience I don't find it that strange. Very unfortunate though.
Edit: Yeah, recycling points made from other responses. Didn't even bother to skim through those first. :/
Congrats for winning, Process Games.
It seems like asymmetric gameplay has been taking off recently.
Can't exactly say I like the name change, but there could be some copyright issues about that.
An interesting premise, and looks fitting for mobile, but I'm on the fence about this one.
Don't tease me like that! >:
Hooray to more gift cards!
@Ultranova
"Its funny how the company that has infinite resources released a console with 40-50% failure rate when the other company that is in the red-financially for years releases better, reliable hardware (every-time)"
When you mention every time are you talking about each console generation both Xbox and PlayStation have been around? If so, that's incorrect in regards to the Xbox + PS2 era. PS2 and DRE issues was a thing before slim came ...
I'd say that's a completely fair way to handle your anticipation in this case.
Stahp being so level-headed on N4G! >:(
:P

Haha...this one's the interview anyways. XD
Thanks though.
