I think you missed out on that opportunity in the recent GTA game. (Think I saw that in the trailer)
:P
Wow...somebody's already got a We Happy Few tattoo? That's a neat little factoid.
Great interview, -Alpha. A nice break from the norm in regards to WWII alt. history premises too.
Hmm...very insightful info on kickstarting a project like this. A special thanks to Sam for taking the time to type this out. I gotta say: I'm becoming more and more tempted to kickstart this project with each passing day. I think I'm going to give it a shot.
I know Tumblr gets a lot of crap but some applause given to whomever in that community got We Happy Few that popularity.
I like that particular concept art b/c it seems to perfectly capture what kind of strange tone the game's going for. The weird juxtaposition on display there.
Hooray for gift cards!
I can't remember the last time I used a mechanical keyboard. Here's hoping that changes for me with this lotto! XD
This day may not have an indie but this idea is certainly a cool way to fill it in.
But that's over nine thousand! :P
That's an awesome treat for any indie studio. Cool new idea that gives back to these artists.
Some of them are pretty sweet.
So it seems Cat still has a few more PS4's on that pallet, with a couple of Xbone's tucked in there. :P
Hope to have a great Indie Month. And a big thumbs up to Christopher for all the time + effort I know you've put into this, especially when considering the limited amount of time you had to set this up.
While I haven't jumped on the bandwagon for this one yet, I'm happy to see Compulsion still going strong.
I'll admit that the seemingly internet-type language (are you cereal?) could be more grounded in reality than I know; if that's the case, it'd still strike me as sounding stupid. But I don't want to slam it too much for some bad spots.
On many occasions, I did like how it captured those cringe-y, awkward moments of high school in such a real way. Sometimes even causing me to reminisce about those strange days.
I guess I am "going with that." Heck, I'm not suggesting that you're not allowed any kind of reaction to the trailer. I don't think it looks good from that trailer, but that doesn't mean I can't be optimistic about what kind of fun gameplay ideas may be present. It's just a spin-off after all.
HOWEVER...
Seeing just how far the worst haters have gone, even promoting to halt Nintendo's production of THEIR OWN creative e...
I checked it out and nothing popped up for me.
Source or I don't believe you.
[o_o]~
How do you expect anyone here or elsewhere to defend a game and its qualities that have had no hands-on time with it yet?
Yeah, a lot of great indie devs have been popping up around there too.
That wouldn't be...if that was all said consumers were doing. For crying out loud, the petition's title plainly states for the CANCELLATION of said title before having any kind of significant experience with it (though certain supporters clearly don't go as far).
I'd figure the kind of language present there would at least make more question if this, in some small way, disrupts Nintendo's freedom of expression with the series. Which is funny considering ...
I couldn't stand this one back in the day. There was this rooftop oriented battle, think it was a boss fight, I couldn't stand.
Such a drag to get through.
Thanks Valenka. Yeah, what's got me most curious is seeing what they're going to pack into these last two when considering what happened at the end of Chaos Theory.
Really glad I took the jump into this one too, albeit a bit late. I've seen a lot also bring up Kentucky Route Zero, but I haven't jumped on that yet.
It's been an adrenaline-filled week for me thanks in large part to the Gears Beta. I'm not sure if any others feel or have experienced the same thing, but I have some issues:
-I swear I should've gotten headshots with sniper sometimes. I remember taking aim at the back of Theron guard enemy, nicking just right at the part between his collar and head yet still not getting the kill.
-I don't think the Gears 3 no-scope sniper animation is the way to go...
My sentiments on Contrast's gameplay are similar but considering that there's also pre-alpha gameplay to go on, it seems like that potential's hitting much more consistently.
