The current gen had really started hitting a plateau in terms of graphics and physics, allowing for some very good stories and experiences to be crafted. I'm gonna miss it.

The Stardust Delta games seem to me to be the most vibrant-looking, but Gravity Rush is hands down my favorite.

Totally agree. Assassin's Creed games are fun, but not at the expense of leaving God of War and inFamous off that list.

You can put sexuality into a game, and if it somehow adds to the story then it can work just fine.
Of course, if it's just for a gratuitous appearance (trailer-material) or one of those extreme volleyball games, then yes, it's kinda lame.

That's about right.
Still, in some current-gen examples, there is a problem. Take TFU2 vs RDR. They both cost the same at launch, but one has pretty graphics and no story and lasts 2hrs. The other has weaker GFX but far more story and after ~30 hours I'm just crossing into Mehico FFS.
Though I hate promoting DLC, maybe Devs could release AI upgrades that way for longer SP titles.

Games on the whole are getting easier to play and finish, and that's not a bad thing. The Bad Thing is the ( nearly ) complete disappearance of games which *do* present a genuine challenge to beat. Instead of giving us a little of everything, the companies have been giving us a *lot* of what we want.
