Very true.....to make me care about losing something, you have to make me love it first.

In most games, very little time is spent making you "love" your world before you have to save it. That DOES need to change. Since this is gaming we're talking about, there are many ways to do this.

As an old ninja master once said:

"Powerful console is much taller than I, so he may walk over me. But I, I am simpler, much *shorter* console, so I may walk under him and about him, quietly taking his cookies..."

Ninja masters are wise so listen to them and respect their words.

It LOOKS "cartooney" because the show is actually BASED on a graphic novel - a *comic* book.

Uncharted WAS PG equivalent. Would be awesome if Uncharted 4 were to be rated M, but it won't happen.

Trophies should play to the strengths of the game, not arbirtrary nonsense like "find all 64 frogs".

Though I prefer open world games, the trophies for said genre are the worst in general.

See, I avoid Intel for the same reason: The performance boost is notable but it does me no good if I'll NEVER HAVE THE MONEY TO GET IT IN MY LIFETIME.

So, yeah, uh.....AMD all the way!

Holding the PS button quits more quickly than bringing up the xmb.

Good stuff. Websites load faster for me (I get 25mbps down/ 5mbps up internet). Also financial websites load now too, which is good for checking balances and stuff.

I'm starting to see the promise of that ten-year life-cycle coming to fruition. I would crack up so hard if the NextBoX came out but no announce of ps4 from sony - they'd just keep matching NextBoX content with the ps3 hardware. It could happen - doesn't ps3 have a locked core or something?

If they don't do it, then good for them. MAYBE I'll get the 720.

If they DO do it, the console will suffer horribly. It will be deserved and I'll definitely stay a playstation fanboy.

All this defeatist talk about, "oh, the PC is this way already, consoles will follow and there's nothing we can do" is utter bullshit. Gamers are smart - we could do something about this if we chose to.
Otherwise, we can just move to linux g...

A couch and a big-ass TV (bean-bag in my case) are Console Gaming's only redeeming quality over PC gaming.

Unless, you know, you're poor or something.

This list is very realistic about what will probably come.

I particularly loved inFamous 2 and would also love a new Zelda game, though I'm not that hot on the Wii U.

Damn, they really slam on it. Why are they even comparing it to an iPod Touch? This is a *Game Console*.
In fact, they got their pros and cons messed up. Large size is a Pro. I've never used handhelds before because I hate the stupid little screens, and the size of this thing is what has persuaded me to get it.

Don't take this review seriously. CNET is good for many things, but they got this all wrong.
