I'm not with the crowd that wants all sexism out of games, but I do believe that it is a little oversaturated ATM. Super-sexy characters are just a little harder to believe in, so you lose a small amount of suspension of disbelief. Think Elena from U1 and U2. In U3 they took an airbrush to her, so her character lost some believability.
Real characters are better characters, if only now and then.
Like, where's Gravity Rush? I am so psyched for that game, and it's not even on the list srslyomgsrsly.

You know all the trash talking that goes on over voice and video chat? That could be construed as terrorist talk or pedophilia! I discovered through a recent video chat that one of my psn buddies is like 11. I'm going on 23, so if any of this is true, I'm gonna have to watch anything I say. Though now that I think about it, I should probably just unfriend him.
I'm of the same water, but I have hopes for this.
....Specifically, I don't want to have to use my whole body (wii style), but I would enjoy sitting down and making simple gestures with both of my hands to control a game. It would certainly eliminate hand pains from holding a controller for hours.
Getting the cameras to follow very subtle hand movement is the natural progression of this tech. I can't wait!
This game is easily the prettiest-looking browser game I've ever come across, though combat seems too lacking (dumbed down). I particularly liked how there is a real-time war going on, with system occupation and base-building / resource mining.
Not enough to take me away from STO though, especially now that that's free-to-play.
I SERIOUSLY hope that there is a higher-tier version with BC or something. Without that, there really is no impetus for me to get this system, because I built a gaming rig about a year ago and it's looking like THAT will be as or more powerful than these rumored specs.......
Ps3 still has so much life in it...I'm of the personal opinion that (despite my PC bias) Uncharted 2 is the best game I've ever played.
Agreed. I believe, though, that PC and Console games still far out-tier tablet and phone games. Ergo, Consoles aren't going anywhere.

Am I the only one in the world who doesn't care about price? I'm not even "well to do"!! People seem to forget that these consoles have a 6-8 yr lifespan. Think about it - that's about a 6th (guessing) of the total time you'll be alive and inclined to play games in the first place! How would you NOT want to shell out a bit more for more features?

Idk. I might be persuaded to buy a game for $70 if it was infamous 3. (open, dynamic world, shared user made content , etc. Something actually worth such an outrageous price)
I only prefer open-world games over linear games when the linear games won't let you keep your skills and powerups on the second run-through.
I've never shed tears during a game, but inFamous 2's evil ending probably brought me the closest.
