Next gen launch I hope.
There goes the neighborhood.
@roadkillers
Well if Sony's to do well they need to sell stuff. If that means promoting kiddy nonsense like wonderbook so they can stay afloat, we shouldn't be too miffed about it.
True that, about savings.
People forget that these machines are meant to last 5 years or more. Stop whining about price! ~$500 at launch is perfectly reasonable for your home entertainment hub (M$/Sony).
I know some people who buy a new lappy every year for that price. Grow up and get a job already.
Yeah well duh, it's the only shooter I know of that came out of the gates saying "have fun, don't take it too seriously".
Yes, bring it, please.
I'm tired of seeing cloth clip through arms and legs; tired of loading screens that a world war could be fought in; tired of blocky shadows and distance filters; tired of pre-baked particle animations and AI so dumb that my 8 year old sister says she's bored watching.
Yes, I own a l33t gaming PC and no, I'm not in a good mood.
You're not allowed to use lizards in Time Attack Mode.
I'm sure they're trying to punish you for not having one already. That's how they think, methinks.
@ acharlez
Yes, but, come on, it's 2012. We all should know Sony's cycle by now:
1) Release hardware that should be awesome, but isn't.
2) Slowly update the capabilities of the machine with firmware DLs
3) The machine hits its awesomeness about one year before its antiquity.
Zombies are slow and stupid.
The "infected" in this game seem to be quite crazed and fast. I'll wager they'll be using them for mini-bosses.
I hope there are some good boss fights though. Imagine fighting / evading an infected rhino or swarms of smaller infected beings.
Yeah the 3rd on HTA is really tough. You have to stand on the tip of its club and as it pulls the club out of the ground, you've gotta jump and let the momentum carry you onto its abdomen.
Search YouTube, I remember going there and finding a really helpful video back when I was trying to defeat it in time.
OMG No Country for Old Men! Yeah that guy was something else! What a movie.
Personally though I can't take any villains who wear masks seriously. Sorry.
Oh that reminds me Kobayashi from "The Usual Suspects" also meets your description.
I'm not sure what makes a *good* villain. I know that a *bad* villain is one you rarely see. And by that I mean that the less you see of the villain, the worse it is.
Eh, I don't know, I enjoyed this troll article. It's just so wrong *and* so poorly written XD
Nah 22.
I know that's what I was just thinking looking at those :-(
Do these have good storylines / plot? I've never played one ...
Sweet. The only other game I got nearly that much time in before finishing was RDR.
This will be like AC2 in that we finally get lotsa bang for our buck.
Hope multiplayer has had some love put into it - I'd like to spend some time in a polished, NON shooter MP for once.
Oooh! I love the dusty cell-shaded look. Shame.
@ChunkyLover53
"Also, people have jobs, but not everyone can afford to drop $500-$600 at the drop of a hat for a gaming console."
It's not at the drop of a hat. It's a 5-plus-year investment.
Also, you act like track-record has no value. Personally, based on the Ps1, Ps2, and Ps3, I would buy the Ps4 at launch if it were $500 (assuming enough next-gen goodiness was packed in). I'd be nearing thirty in another 8 years from n...
