Yay?
So true.
Too bad they can't get an all-American marketing team and an all-Japanese tech team.
We wouldn't know what hit us.
Just bought a whole batch of Vita games myself =D
Gravity Rush is awesome.
I'm in Michigan and $60/mo to Comcast gets me 25mbps.
Where on earth are YOU?
the "hardest core games" IMO are the first ones that you'll recommend to your friend when they have just bought the platform on which they run.
for me, that would be i.e.
PS3 - Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, and TLoU(I expect)
XboX - Halo, Fable (I expect, never owned xbox)
PC - Crysis Series, Deus Ex, Tremulous, Realm of the Mad God, Sins of a Solar Empire...
So maybe hardcore is whichever game makes its platform the proudest....
Gamers already know all this stuff. Not having a go, just saying.
Love your games, Sony, but if you end up using this tech I'll boycott your stuff. It's not worth the dystopia you'd be helping to build.
Wouldn't mind Spyro, for nostalgia's sake.
Now that would be a fight to remember.
Sequel machines huh? What of it?
Edit: Yes though I agree with say, Halo and certain franchises by EA. Maybe not Halo.
5 ways:
1) 6 pack of red bull
2) 2 pairs of fresh underwear
3) 1 "Do Not Disturb" sign
4) 4 boxes of hotpockets.
5) a bottle of aspirin.
I'll update my Vita when the update adds new features to the thing, not when it only prohibits their addition.
I'd like to hear more about Watch Dogs at some point. I'm getting a hype overload between that, Beyond, and The Last of Us.
Careful Readers! I read the last one, and there were some minor spoilers from Troy and co. If you want a virgin experience ( lawl ) then avoid this article.
Yeah I can barely wait either. At this point my only concern is that the game will be too short.
Ellie is an orphan and there exists a quarantine zone. In your book those might not count as spoilers but they do in mine, esp in story based games like this.
Gee, thanks guys for shouting "SPOILER ALERT" /s
This article spoils some parts of the setup that I'd rather have discovered on my first playthrough.
And let's not forget tessellation! I'm tired of seeing "round" things and curves that are an assortment of obtuse angles. I'd actually prefer perfected model geometry to lighting at this point.
This concept model image is pretty cool IMO. Though I've never known a console to look anything like one of its pre-release concepts.
So.....AC3 is like AC meets Sid Meier's Colonization, by way of rescuing damsels in distress? Methinks I like!
Well-written article, anyway.
