Usually the minority that frequent gaming sites are the hardcore fans that buy most every exclusive, in my experience.

The framerate and resolution was awful in the last game.
I think the first looks way better, appears to show off more puzzly elements and some really nice metallic surfaces. The second looks generic as hell, and i hope shooting isn't a big part of gameplay.
If i'm not mistaken this is being made by Armature (ex Metroid Prime) which is only a team of 30, with some help from Comcept which is also a small team. Glad to see small teams still making big games - allows more creativity to prosper imo.
Then why isn't there any Vita games coming anywhere close to MK8's attach rate? It's sold a similar amount of units as the Wii U and got a similar amount of third party support, so why didn't the lack of competition catapult the few games it had?
Sometimes you just have to step back and admire the dedication Nintendo has fostered to its software... it's not that hard to give some credit where it's due. I haven't said much good about the Wii U eve...
It's honestly pretty insane that the best selling exclusive this gen is still MK8 when the Wii U is in last place by far.
Well they had the kinect inflating their manufacturing cost, i imagine that's part of the reason the xbone is so cheap. They had to sell a console and a highly advanced camera/motion sensor for 500 while sony wisely chose a console for 400
Just for an example i thought Prey had a lot of cool elements due to its' protagonist being Cherokee. It looked like they were ditching him in the sequel though :/
It's crazy that they even estimated the Wii U would sell almost 3 million more consoles. Nintendo themselves only expect 800k.
I agree... Didn't say Nintendo should lag behind. I just think the dual screen set up works way too well to throw away, and wasn't what was holding them back (the 3D was). A resistive touch screen costs nothing to manufacture.

I always thought Bioshock Infinite played it too safe. I takes place in like 1913 i believe but they used "negro" as the derogatory term when we all know it was something worse.
That game in general handled race relations in a very weird way. Almost nihilistic... reminds me of the book White Dog.
Honestly the main thing holding back the 3ds was the 3D technology not the dual screens. It was very expensive to manufacture when it came out, and never really proved its worth.
The dual screens are way too essential to throw away now, they are so useful in many games.
I don't think it would have either, mainly because it was not even really a new game. It;s basically a remake of 64 but not a reboot, or a re-imagining, or anything. Nintendo didn't even know what to call it. After the Star Fox 64 remake on 3DS only a few years ago this was just beating the dead horse. People asked for a game like 64... they got plenty of it now.
When i always said "get Platinum to make a star fox game" I imagined some bullet-hell inspired...
Even Star Fox which came out right with mynintendo didn't have a damn code to redeem.
Better spend my platinum coins and get 15% offf of Nintendo's 60 dolar digital version of their games from 2013, otherwise they'll disappear in 6 months :/
mynintendo is so much worse than club nintendo. I can't do crap with the platinum coins. The gold coins are impossible to collect since hardly any nintendo games have come out recently.

Honestly this one seems generic in a different way, because i feel like parkour and seamless co-op are some of the finest buzzwords of 2013.
I was wondering if this might be Kamiya's jab at new Dante. Both characters have basically the same hairstyle, wear a muscle shirt (although this guy wears a jacket) and exude douchery.
I think they could pull it off if they made him ironically douchey and not just annoying.
