Oh man, dead rising at christmas time with 4 player co-op sounds fun.
Only Lost Planet 2 had 4 player co-op. That series has been dead ever since 3 though, i doubt MS would bother with it.
I mean this could be a game that didn't originally have 4 player co-op... or it could be, ya know, BS,
Im going to make raw nightmare fuel.
The content is light but i think the big part of Overwatch's price is the huge cast of characters, the excellent balancing and near-instant matchmaking. From what i hear, future maps are free though i think.
Goat simulator > Walking sim
Siren is a great game though, one of my fav's.
How'd you manage that?
The kinect pretty much destroyed MS' chances of beating Sony this gen. In the end it's all about profit of course, but if they didn't have that manufacturing cost in the way the Xbone could be on level ground power-wise with the PS4. Not even mentioning the R&D that must've gone into it.
Just because the PS4 has more units doesn't necessarily guarantee more sales for a game like Dead Rising. The Xbone lacks a lot of Japanese support, and its line up is looking more sparse than the PS4's. That's when a game like Dead Rising shines.
The series also has more history on the Xbox, with 1 and 3 being sleeper hit exclusives and the Xbox version of 2 being the best selling version despite a lower install base. DR2 was also one of the first free GWG game...
What's the alternative? The vita has good loyalty in Japan but no where near 3DS levels. The PS4 has been out two years in Japan but still hasn't passed the Wii U. It probably wouldn't sell much better on the PS4 than Wii U, and it would cost a LOT more to make either than a 3DS game.
I think you're being a little presumptuous to not consider that the same people who didn't like the lack of this feature in Forza COULD be the same ones disappointed in its removal from GT Sport.
It's just a game.
The game's future maps and modes will be free though unless i heard wrong?
Different people reviewed the games, why is it fair to compare reviews, even if it is the same site?
Homefront outsold Doom... what?
This could very well be the procedure going forward if it succeeds. I hope not though...
I trade in my old phone everytime, what do you do with yours?!
Regardless of whether or not people want them to (why not?), these offers will pop up in places like Gamestop, it happens with every new console. The New 3DS had a trade in deal with the old one.
edit: But who buys a console directly from Sony and MS anyway? I buy from Best Buy - they will inevitably have a trade-in deal.
I don't get why people like Elizabeth. Her only useful function in-game is "finding" healing items or coins out of thin air and throwing it to you, and lockpicking doors (something you could do yourself in Bioshock 1-2). Her personality (bubbly, excited, eager) also struck me as very odd for someone who spent their life in an observation chamber with a giant bird. Also spent the whole game thinking Booker and Liz would hook up (big mistake).
But hey, that'...
That sounds too good to be true. I would prefer a SS2 spiritual successor to yet another quest driven open world game, though. Everything has open world elements either copy-pasted from Rockstar or Bethesda and it's gotten kind of tiring.
I just dont see how you can call Platinum overrated but then praise Grasshopper. Grasshopper is essentially Platinum with the craziness amplified and a way smaller budget
Why do people say no one cares about Forza? My favorite game ever is GT3 but it's not like there isn't a reason Forza gets so many releases - it sells pretty well. Not as well as GT, but i remember Forza 4 and 3 selling over 5 million and Forza 5 is one of this gen's best selling launch titles.
I dont see the need to bash a series just because it doesn't sell as well as Gran Turismo, which has always been a top seller. That's like bashing Saint's Row...
@Jack
You're right about PS4 outpacing PS2. But the Wii sold 40 million in under 2 years.
http://vgsales.wikia.com/wi...
It sold 44.9 million by december, and 50.4 by march 2009, so the PS4 is still 10 million behind the Wii.
There's little doubt it won't eventually outpace the Wii though.
