Not a fanboy, probably not gonna get a switch until i hear more details about online and software. I sincerely doubt an external app on a smartphone will be worth a big asking price, and if i cant play games online without some weird app i'll be mad.
Yeah i was overall a bit disappointed but what Nintendo is doing with Mario and Zelda is fresh and potentially groundbreaking. This game is probably the most ambitious, expensive, and inspired thing to come out of Nintendo since Ocarina.
I just wish there was more at launch :/
Are you excited for the new mario? i remember for years you saying you wanted a more open world mario game.
@TheRandomOne
Yeah it is pretty ridiculous. But rarely do games as poorly optimized as Recore come. And that's an EXCLUSIVE. Not only was it delayed 5 months, but it came out buggy and im pretty sure the PC version drained resources.
Most of MS' big games have felt half baked lately. Only the Forza games are really consistently solid.
It was the only Japanese exclusive they had. Cant imagine how much money and time was wasted. They shouldve delayed the PC version. I wasnt against the W10 thing but i am now. All of MS' games have been delayed or released in poor condition to get that W10 bullet point.
Scorpio and Switch are two totally different machines though. The Switch is Nintendo's next generation console whose focus is clearly not on power.
The scorpio seems like basically a next gen console released early for those willing to shell out for it. I wouldnt even compare it with the PS4 Pro since Sony has stated they fully intend on a PS5 and MS said they wont follow the generation model starting with Scorpio.
Im not even sure if MS expects it to...
Right there with you with the GC. I sold my GC and all the games around 2007 as a kid. AKA, when everyone else was trading in their GC and games.
Nowadays, GC games go for damn near what they cost 10-15 years ago. Any first party Nintendo game on the GC goes for like 40-50 bucks now.
I predict the same will happen with Wii U.
But the Switch version has the bonus of being the only portable version of the game. Thats why P4G sold well on Vita. That alone would make P5 on Switch big in Japan, regardless of when it hits.
See your first point is why i supported the hybrid console concept. It really is the solution to all their drought problems.
But recently they said they are developing a 3ds successor as well, so we have to keep that in mind.
It would be a waste to allow the screens resolution to go that high. I think hes referring to the base's output.
It's possible that resolution was set as a priority during design despite Switch being weaker than its counterparts. Even though the DC Was weaker than the Ps2, it could output at a higher resolution.
Like a week ago they showed screenshots that clearly are bullshots after seeing how deep in development the game is.
so much for those screens they showed, huh? figured they were bullshots.
Not much left to do with MvC... might as well start a new crossover.
Honestly burnout paradise is the only driving game for me. Just raw fun.
Tempest 2000
Nope. What a bizarre choice, last time the rabbids were relevant was 2008.
@gamer7804
Good thing he didn't say they all were.
Not to mention this is about the first Xbox which wasn't even close to a war because the PS2 was so dominant. Back then consoles actually had indentity and owning both was worthwhile.
People generally bought a Xbox for PC ports, better multiplats and XBL.
People bought a PS2 for sony exclusives and better Japanese support.
Just because a game is kiddy doesnt mean it will have a small file size. Nintendo themselves compress their games a lot but these games still have mass amounts of textures and data.
For example, Retro put more textures in single levels of Donkey Kong Country Returns than in Metroid Prime 3.
Also game size wont be an issue since you wont need to put games on a HDD. Update size and DLC will be the issue.
