The ps4 was tracked for 2 days and Switch for 3.
Still similar sales though.
Considering the Wii U launched in December rather than March with Monster Hunter, i think its pretty impressive it outsold the Wii U with Zelda alone. The fact that Japan is taking to the system despite the lack of launch titkes tells me it'll do well there.
The PS4 launched in February, for reference.
The PS4 had a slow year after launch, due to lack of any big Japanese titles, but Nintendo almost solely caters to the Japanese audience. Perhaps to t...
I personally didnt think dooms soundtrack was allthat great
I didnt see people docking points for that. The general consensus was that the game wasnt for everyone, or even necessarily fans of SotC. Ico had a similar reception for being "not for everyone".
Are we supposed to start judging games by the limits of their hardware now? The Switch is a portable, should we just take 2 points off every game for having "last gen graphics"?
Lmao your defending people giving this game a 0 because it sends a "message". Get over yourself.
You go around saying "meh, games an 8" when you havent even played it. Last i checked you dont even own either platform its on?
Like what? Be specific.
But so many open world games are still linear in their main quests. The last open world game that offered the level of freedom that BotW does, was Crackdown, and on a much smaller scale.
The way every villager has his own schedule and the way the music weaves into the gameplay. The art style is unique at the very least, and the game is full of content.
It really does take the best from zelda games. The openness of 1, the combat of 2, the sense of ambition...
I feel like the march launch might affect things. But looking at other nintendo consoles its doing pretty good.
Its not launching in the holiday season. Like those platforms.
They probably dont expect it to sell too well at launch. I think people are letting the Pro skew their idea of what Scorpio is.
Keep in mind that Microsoft says they are abandoning the generation model with Scorpio. This isnt an xbone pro. This is an xbone successor being released early for those willing to pay for it. They're just throwing the option out there until the Scorpio gradually becomes their base unit.
Basically, the Scorpio is only a xbone...
I say 40-50 million. Which is pretty optimistic imo, considering a 3ds successor is on the way.
I remember when you said the Wii U would hit 70 million, too.
It's weird that it's taking so long to come out if it is just a port. Are they even going to change the button prompts? I can't imagine its that difficult to make HD.
Wow, you wrote an entire book to say what? If you keep your console you dont need BC?
I sold my 360 when i saw how many BC games were available. More space under my tv. Less controllers lying around, no giant 360 brick and assorted cables. Dont have to get used to the old 360 controller every time i play.
Its a nice feature that a lot of ppl clearly partake in. Nothing more, nothing less.
What if you arent an intern?
Re7 also seems to take more western influence with the writing, horror and first person perspective
Every horror game out recently plays the "return to survival horror" card and it got old. RE6 did it, then Evil Within, and now RE7. Too bad RE7 actually lives up to it, because i think gamers got sick of false promises.
Already waited 10 years, 5 days is nothin'
I kind of figured it turned into Arms. The extendo arms reminded me of this tech demo.
I loved mankind divided personally, despite the bad story. Best level design ive seen in a game all gen.
Well you said PS was the only one doing it right, i was just pointing out the massively overlooked pro controller. One of my fav controllers ever.
Also the battery life does come in handy when you forget to charge (which after 7 years on a 360, i sure do. I really wish the DS4 would have better battery after all these years. I get about 6.5 hours off it.
The wii u gamepad, with brightness on halfway,i could get 5.5 hours.
I dont think you know what competition means in market terms.
