@Gameseeker
Not here in his defense but Media Create didn't title the article and it is a bit baity
The fact that the PS4 is in its 5th year is irrelevant. The PS2's best sales were in its 4th year and the PS3's best sales were in its 5th year. The PS4's best year has possibly yet to come.
Well, a lot of people have been wanting online features in VC games for a while now. It's nice to see them working on that.
But at the same time, Nintendo fans generally like to own what they buy and if these games are only available to you so long as you have a subscription, there's gonna be problems.
You can gameshare on xbone. Me and a buddy split 59.99 a year for Live and if we both want a game we buy digital and split that too.
Now gamepass crosses over too so i only pay 5 a month for that.
True, bc they never really priced the VC very well or sold like "packs" or anything to incentiveize buying in bulk. Sales were rare and for generally unwanted games. The massive catalog on the Wii was never brought over to Wii U and probably wont come to Switch either.
If you ask me the bscklog of games at their disposal is one of Nintendos biggest strengths over other console makers and that potential has yet to be harnessed properly.
Sounds like RIP Virtual Console
@MrSec84
Not a lot of games on bestseller consoles that hit 10-20% attach ratio. There were multiple Nintendo games that did, even on the Wii.
There was a small but solid hardcore base on the Wii that ate up good games. The third parties generally didnt provide enough of them.
What game is that, out of curiosity?
QB is okay but Alan Wake sold better and was a better game.
FWIW, i got a solid 100 hours in before i got burnt. Theres just some experiences that only this game can deliver, but there does need to be more to do and i look forward to that.
The seas are no more empty than they ever were. i think its like 24 players or something across 5-6 ships.
I never have trouble finding a crew - finding a good crew however...
Its almost like Nintendo deserves to be called out on bulls***.
Theyre charging 59.99 for a 4 year old game that was 49.99 at launch.
Sounds like they cant win with you
Its BS.
The game costs 10 bucks more than it did as a new game on Wii U. Payed 49.99 on day 1 on Wii U.
One couldnt help but feel screwed after making Cliff's Gears series a bestseller.
A multiplat is fine but if it belonged on any one console it was probably the Xbone
You're right.

I think in the end the PS4 will outsell the wii though.
Nintendo is aiming to outpace the ps4, thats what is surprising people.
I think Mario's solid but too many repetitive moons. At least with zelda you have a decent variety different shrines.
As a side note... wheres EDMIX who said this day would never come and that Zelda wouldnt keep selling?
I lost my enthusiasm for the game but only after more hours than most games i buy. The skull forts are intense and more events like that would go a long way. Looking forward to May,
"not many played them" - except MK8 sold 8 million on Wii U before it came to Switch.
They're not new games. We know it and so does Nintendo. There was a time when the Wii got gamecube ports too - they cost 29.99. You can't expect anything to get better when you are more ready to say "they're a company, they have to keep the lights on" than "that's BS". Since launch i've seen the progression of greed:
