Neither was 4 though, and that game is received pretty well unlike Homecoming.
Personally i think Homecoming is pretty good. The story is eh but the creatures, atmosphere and soundtrack are still top tier. It might be my favorite OST in that series.
Thats just grasping at straws, western characters have been in the game since the original considering DK’s design and character are derived from DKC (by British studio Rare)
It's fun to play the switch version in handheld mode with some nice headphones. The 3D rumble is pretty immersive on that game.
A new condemned in the style of the first would be so good.
Yes
In no particular order:
Enter the Gungeon
Binding of Isaac
Thumper
Golf story
Snipperclips
Axiom verge
Stick Fight (whenever it comes out lol)
No More Room in Hell is a source 2 game you would probably be into.
I know youd probably want something with more production value but its pretty much Night of the Living Dead (1968) as a game and a very unique game to play.
Honestly ive never played a good snapmap level.
@Cyber
And the money doesnt benefit the dev whatsoever.
The megalodon and the new haunted ship battles are sooooo fun. I definitely say give the game another shot.
This was seen a lot on the 360 in Japan back in the day. There's a surprising amount of visual novels and bullet hell games exclusive to that platform because Microsoft charges a very low licensing fee in Japan and there was a loyal collector base.
The Xbone sold so bad in Japan though, I can't see them selling much there...
Goes to show that the right kind of third-party game can do very well on Switch.
Kudos to Square for making such a good JRPG, and to Switch owners for showing it love.
I wouldn't say it'll never happen, that which is old always becomes new again. BotW and ALBW harken back to the design conventions of the first zelda. Personally, I was sick of traditional 3D zelda games, and i haven't completed one since Majora.
In Skyward Sword there was no reason to include it, and it added nothing to the game. It just sped up transitionary actions like climbing and running that just should've been faster as a base.
In ...
welcome back to N4G
I assume your talking about the original Siren. The atmosphere was amazing but yeah, it just wasnt fun (RE) or scary (Silent Hill).
Siren Blood Curse came closer to hitting the series’ potential but the reason you probably wont see Siren anytime soon is because Gravity Rush is way more popular.
If you ask me they should revisit the series after PT left a giant gaping hole in gamers’ hearts. Its a cool IP.
Ive gotten a ton of hours with this game and i got sick of it due to the lack of content, but i enjoy coming back every couple weeks for the bilge rat adventures and every couple months for the content drops.
I say its worth a shot, especially if you can bring some friends.
@iofhua
Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey, and Arms were all generally well received AAA titles that helped drive sales.
When Smash comes out, this thing's gonna fly off shelves. Still need to get Octopath.
The PS4 is not doing very well in Japan when compared to previous consoles there. The PS3 was widely seen as a sales disappointment there for years, and its outpacing the PS4.
The Japanese just don't want traditional home consoles and that's why you see the Switch and even the Vita excelling there.
The original prine games are timeless for their art design more than anything.
Also just as an aside, Prime 1+2 ran with 60 fps, no loading screens, incredible graphics and a (at the time) high resolution. RIP the days of games not having load screens.
GoW came out in April though
