Imagine a gears game on the scale of something like battlefield. That'd be awesome. Maybe not a focus on vehicles or anything, just a big 32v32 war zone.
The problem with the Vita as a compliment to the PS4 is that most consumers aren't willing to drop another 200+ bucks after they spent 400 on a PS4. If it was bundled with a good price that'd be a different story and the Vita could sell a fair bit better.
To be fair the first game sold well over a million on a small install base and the second almost half a million combined despite a small release. They sold okay, considering the circumstances. And word of mouth has spread the series to a lot of people too.
I doubt theyd ask much, and mighty no. 9 is a lot more accessible than something weird like shenmue.
Its not dishonest, theyve been saying since the beginning all of these games would be 2014 releases. And last two years? The wii u's barely been around one year. Would you rather they hold us back on what's coming next. They created nintendo directs because people complained that they didnt communicate enough with fans and waited til e3 to reveal stuff.
This game looks fun for what it is.
You know whatd be cool? A horror game utilizing the kinects ability to read heart rate and reaction time.
You people get all caught up in this "place" nonsense. The 360 has sold 80 million to date, the ps3 is maybe 82? All three companies experienced huge success hardware sales wise last gen, MS is likely satisfied with third place if it means 80 million sold and still selling.
1. Came off PS1 hype
2. Had dvd support
3. Came out a year before any formidable competition (<3 Dreamcast though)
4. Had a bandwagon effect where your friends had a ps2, so that was the system to get.
5. Had a wide range of games, and a lot of good ones
6. The competition was both late and lacking. Gamecube had no online play or dvd playback and MS was a newcomer trying to get their foot in the door.
What are you talking about? You're saying in the vast world of idiocy and hate that is the internet, NO ONE wants nintendo dead and gone?
There's tons of dolts who want sony and/or nintendo and/or microsoft dead, and plenty of them.
Its clear there's people who like to use constructive criticism, you and me both, but if you don't want them dead, then hey, i guess he's not referring to you, right?

Wow and NSMBU didnt even come out last year. Those games can sit on shelves forever. I saw the original one on DS at target, 10 years after it came out.
SS isnt bad, but to me its everything wrong with nintendos modern game design. Too much hand holding (Fi is a character whose sole purpose is to hold your hand), too much gimmickry (the sword combat works, but theres no skill or strategy to it), and general uninspiredness.
I'll tell you why not
It's already a cinematic game. It masks a lot of the sorest cliches of the zombie genre very well as a game but i doubt it could as a movie. It would be another entry in a completely over saturated genre. Let this movie not ruin its reputation as a potential classic of GAMING.
Monster hunter 3 ultimate, Earthbound, DK, SM3DW, MK 8 next month, Pikmin 3, Deus ex if you didnt play it, Zombi u, some others and multiplats if you dont already own them. A solid 10-15 games if you have diverse taste
Cmon man. No one but idiots thought a niche RTS series that had its inception on the gamecube is gonna sell systems? Or a quirky action game by a company that has never once met sales predictions? Or a 2D platformer that, despite selling 6 million units on wii, barely sold any systems in 2010? The only game that had a chance to sell systems was SM3DW, and hell, it did! More wii u's sold in that month than there were all 2013 combined. Mario kart has even more potential, it usually sells e...
I thought it was that cannon thing from SM3DW
Hard to believe people are still trying to spin Spencer as a guy who just says what people want to hear/damage controls. I think some people are too cynical or want to justify their refusal to purchase the competing system.
I think he has genuine ambition and has the right mindset to head xbox.
Wait where does it say it has rearview mode? I would love that.
This -neeeeeds- to happen.
Splitscreen is so annoying, playing with a local friend online on two different screens would be so awesome.
I mean COD does it, why can't nintendo, especially with the useless info on the gamepad.
The system is proven more powerful than the ps3 and 360 which sit at similar price points, and its selling at a loss too. There's zero reason to complain about price when 8 year old hardware is only 50 bucks cheaper.
When you see a movie, do they charge you more or less based on the cast/budget of the movie? No, you pay for the experience, not the specifications.
Edit:
Below you said this game looks gorgeous, if this system is fully capable of delivering ...
It costs them next to nothing, but how many people besides nintendo fans watched nintendo at e3? Iwata in an empty room using his boring voice to try an collect hype is pathetic. They need to be on stage getting the word out on wii u.
Both were excellent consoles too. Hopefully by the end of this gen both systems will have enough kickass exclusives to warrant both of their purchases to the unbiased gamer.
