Well the difference is less than 1k, that's negligible anyway. They just like seeing xbone on top.
But they've already put out the system. Its too late to turn back. They invested, now they have to return something. I doubt they'll lose as much money as the xbox, and the loss on each system is a ton less than the 360 was. Even with less units sold the Xbone has more potential to turn a profit than either of the other systems.
Classic stuff
Also that cringe worthy wii music demonstration and the kinect kids shenanigans.
Im confused
Everyone rightfully complains that they are diverging from the gamer, and now that theyre catering to them you find it insulting?
After making those mistakes of chasing a general audience and failing, what do you think they shouldve done? As far as im concerned, admitting they were wrong and dedicating more money to games than ever was the right idea.
Im not letting MS go with a free pass after their BS last year, but hell, credit where credit is due.
I actually know a guy who works for mario that played with a protoype of the 4ds
Well they just put out the xbox one, the last thing they should do is backtrack on the enormous money put into its development. They need to make SOME of that back. Sega bailed early because they were financially incapable of sustaining without doing so.
There'll always be debate in a big company like MS.
One thing's for sure, pulling out of the xbone before this gen is over and before they could make any money would be a dumb idea. If they're gonna ditch xbox, it would be in their best interest to wait until the end of the 8th generation.
I doubt the game will sell many systems 4 weeks before its out lol.
I think people are missing the point. A readily available system that i can buy right now and have on my doorstep in a week or so is logically more popular than a game that wont be out until 4 weeks from now. Its common knowledge that pre orders are the minority of sales.
This is apples to oranges but still impressive for both MK8 and the PS4.
I dont really care about the characters since theyre basically cosmetic representations of "light, med, and large" weight classes. I always felt kind of sad in mk7 when i unlocked a character instead of a part because only the parts mattered in terms of gameplay, Will miss arenas though.
If i had to guess why, it was to get this game out faster. They needed it out. But the rest of the game is SO full of effort and polish that im still not sure that's the case.
Anyone know how many people work at retro? It seems like theyre always hiring.
Woops that link is dead, heres the right one.

In case this one doesnt work either (something finicky about n4g on mobile) google "hideki kamiya says the wii u is not harder to develop for than ps3 n4g" and it'll be the top result.
I have better things to do than make up stuff. That's a very specific reference. Im not even accusing you of anything really, just asking why you say this stuff when you dont own the system. For all i know there could be a reason, your girlfriend has one, your friend does, etc. Thats why i asked.

"Wonderfull 101 was average at best, it was nothing special." <...
What? The ps4 and xbone only come with one controller, why would you expect them to give you a 50 dollar controller for free?
Have you used one extensively yet? I know you dont own a wii u yet, but i find it weird how you still say games like W101 are mediocre or the gamepad is too big having not owned one. The size isnt really an issue because it weighs no more than a 360 controller and its just like having a 6 inch gap between your hands which is fine since when youre holding a wiimote and nunchuk that gap is even bigger.
Guess those jokers at IGN can shut up now.
Theres this huge over reliance on undisclosed insiders and baseless rumors this gen. Makes me wonder how gaming sites stayed open all those years ago when they werent so seedy and click thirsty.
Damn :l
I was really looking forward to getting this
@GameSpawn
Right lets vote up a company because of what they did 100 years ago /s
All they do, in this day and age, is make videogames. That's all theyve done sincr the 80's. The author's statement is correct because it is in the present tense, not the past.
The reason i think they did this was so they could get EXPERIENCED gamers, ie those that arent picking up their first console as a ps4. Someone who owns more than one console has something to compare a ps4 to.
This also wasnt claimed as a de facto definition, but the criteria people had to meet to do the survey. Even if it was stated as fact, i don't see why that invalidates the opinions of these gamers.
Game looks great... but that drummer doe
But the original Xbox and early years of the 360 were times with extremely high customer satisfaction. Lately they've been slacking and a lot hope Spencer will return it to those days. Sales arent the factor.
