No shit sherlock. If thats your justification for criticising me and not the statement in the first place then there is no hope for you.

"Answering back brely makes you any better than them" No one answered back. I pointed out how stupid the statement was. Again, if you would rather moan about that than the initial statement, my abo...

Gotta love cheap games. Test drive unlimited 2? 19.99 on PC. 35 pounds on console. This is a typical scenario. Multiply it by just 10 games a year and you have 150 pounds saved. There you go.

I would buy around 20 games at least and save a minimum of 10 pounds on each game. I save over 200 pounds every year on games with PC. Every year.

This is more than enough to fund upgrades every few years.

Does not matter how you take it. Its still a ridiculous statement that a child would and should be embarassed to make.

Im a PC gamer, cry like a little girl over my Graphics processor that is ten times faster than your console.

How about not- Pc gamers are far too mature for that kind of nonsense.

Cry like little schoolgirls? Good lord, you didnt just write that did you? How old are you? Twelve?

How can an old piece of inanimate silicon make Pc gamers cry?

Gamesmaster U.k mag apparently has given it a 77. Subscribers have their magazines now. I am sure this news will spread quickly.

So you are still coming out with arguments against my comments and you havent played it on both these platforms? I happen to HAVE played it on both.

PS3 DOES tear. Not a lot, not enough to bother anyone. Heck im pointing out here this isnt even a big deal.

360 does not.

Please dont patronise me, its a terrible mistake on your part. You claim i was overreacting when clearly i was playing these things down, thus that is an absurd, ridicul...

But there IS screentearing. Its obvious to me. The 360 version has none at all. You can see that in this video here too. The 360 version also has better edge smoothing. Just the general 360 advantages that it holds in most Unreal Engine 3 games, slightly better edges, slightly better textures, slightly better performance. The same traits you usually see, all to a pretty small degree that they are basically insignificant.

But they are still there.

Nothing ...

Obvious screentearing on PS3. Probably slight difference in some texture work, mostly minute. Nothing to shout about, much like the game itself

i'll be honest IFone, you dont really know what you are talking about. Its pretty obvious you do not have a gaming PC or use one regularly just stating that either console has better visuals than PC games.

You really dont need to be saying developers dont use massively superior Pc hardware in a topic about Crysis and Crytek.

It is probably the most ridiculous comment i read in this thread. This is a Crytek game! The makers of Far Cry and Crysis. The a...

Wonder what they would give to someone that completely broke open microsoft's DRM and activation system for Windows 7 x64....?

I bet it wouldnt be a Tshirt. Its one thing if a major source of income is not really threatened by jailbreaking, but it would be another totally if it meant hacking could cost microsoft or business partners hundreds of millions of dollars.

Funny? Good PR stunt? Without doubt. Hugely hypocritical? Absolutely.

There is no doubt Ps3 is completely open. Wide open, wider than any hacked console ever. Signing code is the ultimate hack, and its pretty much unfixable from sony's standpoint, they will only be fighting from a weak position whatever they do now.

Still, The fears about the death of PS3 resulting from this are unfounded. PS3 is now well established in the marketplace after 4 years, and the high profile PS3 exclusive games this year are nearly all sony's own which ...

Who in their right mind would rather play this, an RTS (an RTS FGS!!!) with kinect on any platform (let alone PC) instead of a mouse, or God forbid, a pad?

Its an interesting hacked tech demo which ultimately is just another entirely useless and a pointless step back for game control.

Its bad enough adapting a genre that is perfectly designed for mouse and keyboard control to work (sort of) on a game pad before any lunatic made kinect (sort of) function ...

Looks good but i agree with everyone else talking about bullshots, epic (not just epic though no bias here) are notorious for using touched up shots or most specifically 'in engine' downscaled renders rather than pure gameplay captures. 'In engine' being the phrase that basically lets you excuse the practice of using a PC to render the game with a bunch of effects that only appear in cut scenes at enormous resolutions to eliminate artifacts and then downscaling them claiming t...

Yeah we do. Its obviously from PC. Even the article puts the shots under its "PC" section. Everyone who is impressed by this are impressed because they havent played on a decent PC i would wager.

Im sure the console version will look good too but dont expect visuals like this on your 360 or PS3.

"Except MS are not splitting their user base any more than Sony are with Move."

Course they are. Most move games work with a pad too not instead of one. Most kinect games out and dated work ONLY with kinect.

Look at the lists put out there for 360 exclusives next year and what you will see is a bunch of games that REQUIRE you to own a kinect to play them! Its the exception that kinect games work with other methods. Most of those games look to ha...

Sounds to me microsoft are forcing kinect on customers by putting their money on kinect only games. Disgusting. I'll never buy a kinect to be able to to play games on a machine i already paid for. I hope this decision sinks them and teaches them a lesson they should have learnt from all the other companies that chose to split their userbases into the haves and the have nots.

What certain power criteria? How vague of you. Mobile segment? Obviously not. Its a pipedream that cell would be used for a mobile platform like this its pretty obvious. Sony already gave up on cell development years ago where you been? IBM slated it as a dead end. Conceptually it'll survive but ...

It'll be fast for a handheld. It wont be as fast as PS3 or 360 probably somewhere in between the previous generation and the current console generation. The reason for this is easy to explain and that is power consumption. Basically the critical aspect for chip design in the mobile segment. Everything lives and dies by how much juice it can pull down versus how much power the battery can dish out.

Sony could scale down a CELL processor or whatever but it was never desig...
