nah, a large portion of disc space is wrapped up in lengthy, dialogue heavy, mo-capped cut scenes.
a MP beta won't have much of that. and we're only getting a small number of the maps and limited options. 1.5-2.0 sounds about right.
1.7gb is plenty for PSN. i predict it'll take 2-3 hours for a good internet connection to download and install it.
defiantly?
i have a really fast connection (20mb+ down) and if it were 10 gb on psn, i wouldn't even bother.
not to mention the pop-ups and the page redirection. avoid this POS site!
it's 1.7gb.
lotta gaming to do in the mean time.
i don't wanna be one of those people that give their list...but off the top of my head i can think of UC3 beta in july, deus ex in august, resistance 3 and rage in september (and from dust maybe), and that should bring us right into the bf3 beta.
guess the point is, plenty to keep us busy in the mean time.
not sure how you can say that when crysis 1 is still one of the best looking games out there.
I remember when MGS4 came out there was an article called "We love the MGS loading screen." or something like that. and i never understood why. to me it was basically 5 minutes of snake smoking a cigarette while you got text based health advice. lol.
anyway, i thought for sure it would be on this list. not a bad little article.
i'm torn on the resident evil load screen. i remember for the first hour, it added to the suspense; but when the ...
gotcha...and i think that's the plan. i think gears will go on the back burner til close to mid next gen. and i'm guessing epic is already getting kits from MS for a new console so they can work on this new game and UT4. we'll see.
i agree with you too, for the most part. the problem i see is that big budgets go to games they know will sell..sequels are the best test for that. and even though i'd love to see more new IPs, i also wanna see true AAA titles....
were you in the beta? the dedicated servers made all the difference. i'm completely sold on gears MP now. so much fun.
i have a theory and it goes like this. when times are hard (financially, politically), people abandon logic and reason and critical thinking and objective observation in favor of feeling he comfort of belonging to a group. hard times are very polarizing. well, now that gaming is mainstream, it's being affected the same way.
people are too busy arguing pro sony, pro 360 (though not nearly as much), and pro PC (way less)...hard to find ppl who just stand in the center an...
nah, i'm still here.
uh...yeah it was.
jalen...pretty hypocritical...calling someone else a fanboy. i own gow3...really enjoyed playing through it. but i would never delude myself into believing it (or any other console game) stands up against the PC powerhouses. qwertyz is right, far cry 2 dominates anything on console...not even a competition.
you will say the typical fanboy stuff: "you never played it." "you're just a fanboy." but this is you projecting the reality of the situation ...
the look would have made sense 5 years ago (i mean it was still stupid as hell even then), but you don't really see people with no personality going after this cliche appearance anymore. the new look is pointless tattoos and piercings. guys who wear makeup are just gay.
anyway, he can look however they want him to, i lost interest in DMC after the first one, so i don't have to look at him.
werd
"war never changes"
it was okay....although the second time you have to do it all over again in chapter 15 was pretty annoying.
personally, i think the person that made this list just doesn't go back far enough. Halo: CE had a great opening. How about the opening for goldeneye? getting the info, then running for your life and jumping off the dam.
i'll tell you a game with a great opening...Resident Evil. or Amnesia. there are so many. just seems like the list is li...
usually a special edition console is cheaper than buying the system, game, and whatever else. that's good motivation, for a person that hasn't already got the system, to pick one up. special edition games, on the other hand, just cost more for a buncha stuff you'll look at once.
Pretty sure one of the demos did involve a bunch of guys crouching around a door, then blowing it open, slow motion, pew pew, Zzz Zzz.
yeah, but because of the hackers we don't have to buy infamous 2 or plus to get it on the 28th. we should be a little bit thankful...as long as they don't steal our identity.
of course if we're thanking ppl based on a series of events, then i guess we could thank sony for suing geo hotz for the original hack. or maybe geo hotz mom for getting knocked up.
