I think if you develop exclusively for a company like MS or Sony you are going to get a lot more direct help with development.
"oh, you're making a 3rd party game? we'll send a dev kit."
"oh, you're making a first party game? we'll send a dev kit and some of our best technicians."
i think when he says "best" he doesn't mean his favorite system. i think he's talking about best in terms of performance and functionality.
it's just like with most technology. the iPhone 4 is clearly better than iPhone 1, but the jump from a flip phone to an iPhone was much bigger and therefore might have been your favorite device.
could be wrong, but when i think of "best" console i think of the system that had the most enj...
what??? i love hearing him talk. it's like getting a glimpse inside the mind of Neo. dude's pretty brilliant.
anyone notice that the mini map looks just like the map from LoL?
I play them just as i would if i were actually there...lookin out for number 1.
my biggest problem with new vegas was my inability to play nice with multiple factions. i was on good terms with the legion until ncr basically put an end to that. there was a mission pretty early in the game where the legion had some NCR guys tied up...NCR wanted me to kill them to reduce leverage, and legion wanted me to kill the ncr. there was no option for me to be a diplomat. that was ups...
it would be cool if this meant that everyone that pre-purchases gears of war 3 gets early MP access on the 23rd.
deus ex is a must have in just a few more days
he might be right, but i still think it's more about the release date. i will actually consider buying this game new now that i know it's not coming out along side so many MUST HAVE games.
for those that want more realism, not having stuff disappear beyond a 10 foot radius is essential.
it bums me out when something crazy happens when i'm driving and then i turn around to see the carnage, and everything looks as if i had never been there.
not only would destruction be awesome, but construction would be awesome too. After a building or bridge gets messed up, you should see construction workers working on it. and if it's an important bui...
and if you had READ what i said 13 hours before you, you would have seen that your comment is completely redundant.
the type of processor is irrelevant. it's an issue of total power which is a combination of all the computer's parts. quad core or cell has nothing to do with the comparison.
if a motorcycle and a car are in a race and the motorcycle is faster, you can't say that the race didn't count cuz they are two different types of automobiles...the race still exists.
how on earth do you think it's going to work really well with FPS games?
holding a small screen in front of a big screen is hardly revolutionary from an FPS perspective...it would be intrusive. The light gun (which has been around for decades) works well for rail shooters, but the best thing for shooters is still going to be a mouse/keyboard or a thumbstick/joytsick.
also, this headline hardly sums up the article. it's more about grabbing the attent...
some jerk trolls about MW3 and gets slammed (which is appropriate). another jerk trolls about a ps3 exclusive, and he has more agrees than disagrees. only on n4g.
he explained why he didn't use pc. he wanted to be able to play on a chair on stage while talking to his audience and using a controller lends itself better to those circumstances. he admitted the game would look even better on pc (not that we really need to hear that to know it).
"this is being shown on 360."
*Cheer* *Boo*
Grow up. how immature and fanboyish do you have to be to boo or cheer as a result of that statement? it has gotten worse than the polarization in politics.
why would you spend any amount of money on a handheld console that only has remakes and isn't showing any sign of life?
if they cut the price to 50 bucks, i still wouldn't pay it til they showed some interest in making NEW games.
i think those guys could have ramped up the annoying a bit more.
loved the original goldeneye for n64, i don't think it needed to be re-imagined. and not having pierce brosnan is an insult.
wtf is a "normal gamer?"
if i already knew all 10 things, do i get the last 5 minutes of my life back?
that's fine...but not really the point. i figured a sequel would yield some new maps...
also, common sense doesn't have a thing to do with past video game titles. if you had any intelligence, you would know that. next time you wanna be a prick, try to be a bit more clever.
