Heavy Rain surely deserves its praise so far.
Lots of french websites have praised this game and the initial consensus saw metacritic rate it at 93.
Now, after additional international reputable websites have been added, the score has sadly dropped to 89 in the last two days.

This really is a question of 'how much you are willing to give up for what you will get".
Consider these costs, as part of your desire:
1. $299 for ps3
2. $60 for Socom
3. $60 for MAG
4. $60 for KZ2
5. $60 for UC(2)

even you will have to admit that most of the comments in the 73% review are disagreeing with the score, disagreeing with or downplaying PSM3, or outright damage controlling.

Thanks dude, for seeing the comment for what it was - an objective observation.
At everyone else, it doesn't matter if these games are Sony first party titles. Those games would sell more copies, regardless, if they were multiplats.
Put aside the fanboy goggles for a sec.
The reason Sony would not release them as multiplats, is that this would REDUCE the incentive for consumers to buy a ps3.
In the short term, this costs Sony money...
