SO yeah, it sounds like you are threatening to spoil the AW plot in advance?
I hope the mods are paying attention to your username and IP address, so they can ban you permanently for that, you sad troll.
if this anime bluray movie will require a mandatory ps3 install before we can watch it?

.. problem is, the fanboys have been saying it non-stop since 2006.
Hmmm. well I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day!
No matter.
Jack Tretton loves it when you guys say it.
He loves it and he doesn't even pay you guys.
That's awesome.
True loyalty, right there.

well of course we cannot predict the future, but I have made some fair points, supported by reputable industry analysts.
The gist of my post above was that Sony has had a tremendous year, one that will need to be repeated, or improved upon, for two more years.
My post also highlighted that the last year was really due to a price cut and the MAJOR re-release of ps3 as slim.
Both of those things won't be happening again in the next two years. ...
It seems there are just as many failed financial analysts among us as there are deluded fanboys.
Fact is, the Entertainment and devices division (EDD) does not post 360 profits/losses. It only posts financial data for the entire section, not its individual constituents.
Thus, how can people know and wrongly state that the 360 model is not making a profit?
It is just ludicrous..
Come on guys... this is not rocket science.
The EADD bottom line has fluc...
Yeh, gotta admit i laughed at the picture, too!
The author of the article made a very pertinent point - not sure if he intended to, but nevertheless, it stands.
He commented on the amazing success of the 360 so far, despite its atrocious reliability problems on the launch consoles and initial revision. While the 54.7% rrod estimate is woefully inaccurate, the problem was undeniably unacceptable.
What we all need to realise is, the reliability problems of...
Not sure what exactly you are saying and why.
Reviewers give their 'opinion' on the 'set criteria' and score the criteria according to their opinion.
Reviewers give their 'opinion' also in the form of a subjective personal assessment when they give an overall score, which may or may not add up to the sum of the scores of the individual parts.
It's nice of you to suggest that reviewers should keep their 'opinion' out of their reviews, but if they did that, why r...
This is great news for Sony!
Undoubtedly, the ps3 has clawed back a lot of ground and it certainly made all the people who forecasted its imminent failure look very foolish indeed.
Sony did a lot of things wrong when they first launched, but since the pricedrop and the slim sku, hardware sales have been looking up in a big way!
The only thing I am concerned about is that Sony is boasting these hardware figures in the wake of firstly, its most signifant p...
This review gives credence to the feeling that one either loves or hates this game.
While some websites have described this game as 'different and groundbreaking', others have called it a 'bland interactive 2d movie'.
Metacritic has recently updated their review score and it now has dropped to 87, reflecting the weighted average opinion of reputable websites.
87 is still a good 'AA' score, I am not sure why people are getting so angry about it.
It's kind of sad...
You know, I am excited too!
2010 is shaping up to be so amazingly awesome fun for ALL gamers.
Consider the 360 owner's bag of 2010 goodies:
- Splinter cell
- Halo reach
- Mass effect2
- crackdown 2
- alan wake
- Natal
Consider the ps3 owner's bag of 2010 goodies:
- GOW3
- GT5
- Heavy Rain
- MAG
.. oh wait, scratch MAG.
In theory, any reasonable person MUST be in favour of any and all filtering of objectionable sexual and criminal content. I have no beef with this. The government is promoting this as an 'anti child-porn' filter - which no one objects to.
However, thousands of other sites, which restrict freedom of research, thought, expression and speech are also being blacklisted, without the knowledge of the general public. The scope of the filter goes far and away beyond what is necessary and...
"An obviously enthusiastic Bradbury concluded: "That Natal promise from my experience tonight...very, very much intact. I need to wander the streets and calm down before I go home."
Yeah, so it looks like Natal is having quite the positive effect on people that aren't the sour, negative and jaded type like we often find on n4g.
With regard to the 'new improved version', this can only be good news.
I am looking forward to seeing the final version....
" Speak Softly and Carry a Big Marital Aid "
fixed.
You thought it and said it before anyone else.
Ding Ding.
Congrats.
You know it's true!
*sigh*
UC2 and KZ2?
well.. uh.. that was exactly my point.
We are unable to compare loading times in these 'for instances' because they are well.. uh .. exclusive games.
My point still stands.
The exclusivity matters nought.
The Ps3 will need to stream that content, or install it.
The ps3 streams slower than a DVD12x.
The content is 35 gb.
That's a lot of content to stream at slower speeds.
Add it up.
It ain't ...
Forza ahead of Mass effect2?
yowza!
Well, I am glad that we have all established that the average read speed of a 12x DVD is faster than a 2x blu-ray.
Now, consider that 35gb is about 5 times more data to read than a 7gb DVD.
It is simply logical that for a 35 gb game the ps3 will have one of two things, or both:
1. Massive install
2. Slower read times than possible on DVD.
At the risk of repeating myself, I refer to my original post where I highlighted this exact problem.
@ datruth
maybe you should change your name to 'DaHypocrite'?
or maybe 'DaOff-topic'?
Family oriented, fun, simple.
Isn't that exactly what has made nintendo number 1 this gen?
I also just don't understand the detractors who say MS is not giving us hardcore HD experiences.
Did they conveniently forget about Halo reach, alan wake, ME2, crackdown etc?
I am looking forward to working out with a natal fitness game, or a boxing game, or even an interactive martial arts rpg!
