Jesus, dude, take a valium!

With respect to other bosses in Alan Wake, I think they are gonna unleash a 'giant enemy crab' on us before too long.

oh wait.
That's only on ps3.

PS3. It only does Giant Enemy Crabs

what you somehow forgot to mention is that the action and fmv sequences in the ps3 version dip down to 20fps quite frequently, while the 360 version does not.

You know it's true!

So yeah.
Which do you prefer?

ps3 20 fps?
360 30 fps?

5797d ago 1 agree7 disagreeView comment

I have to agree.

While I am obviously a fan of the 360, I do own both consoles, but many more games on the 360 than the ps3, for various reasons.

It is also quite disappointing that ps3 gamers are willing to put up with 20fps and pretty hair, while 360 owners get 576p and smooth framerates.

At the end of the day, which does one prefer?
720p at 20 fps?
576p at 30 fps?

I am still waiting on other definitive metrics, such as loading...

What?
Didn't I say that the game is best on ps3?
Wtf is the matter with you guys?
It *really* has been a long time between drinks for you, huh?

On a separate note,
Did you read the article?
Did you read the valid points raised?
Did you note my comment reflected the valid points raised by DF?

MY advice is, read it again.
I am just stating the truth, as per usual.
Instead of prematurely and immaturely dismissing my conten...

I respect digital foundry, as their comparisons are always based on fact.

In this case, it is clear that FF13 looks better on the ps3, despite the framerate analysis proving the game runs smother on the 360.

I have to concur with DF when they express their disappointment over this shoddy port, especially when the available space on the 360 DVD(s) was not used in its entirety. Fanboys are screaming black and blue that the available DVD space of 6.8 is not enough, yet ...

from the article:

"To be clear, none of the existing Xbox 360 games even compares to it, and even on PS3, which have more real exclusive titles, it's hard to find an equivalent. Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Crysis, these are the few games which can compete with it."

This sounds like the 360 is matching and even exceeding the ps3.
Time to smell the coffee.

YEah i agree, those screenshots are awesome.
Sadly, they will require a $2000+ PC to run at those settings.
Probably a next gen graphics card, too.

On a separate note, did you guys read the article below the screenshots?
Crytek Boss Cevat Yerli had some interesting things to say about hitting the ps3 and 360's limits.

But, don't take my word for it.
No, instead, read what he said:

"According to Cevat Yerli takes the CryEngine...

well said, stk026.

N4g seems to be full of people who misrepresent the truth, misquote, exaggerate and outright lie, just to make their point, or make themselves feel better.

It's even worse when the troll brigade starts blogs to publish false and misleading info, that generates a new generation of delusion, false beliefs, and lies.

Yeah, exactly dude.
I have some sad stalker on here, possibly two, with mutiple accounts who seem to follow me around and press disagree no matter what I write.

It's just amazing how some geeks start frothing at the mouth and get obsessive as soon as their delusions of grandeur are dissolved with the naked truth.

I swear some people on here exhibit classic symptoms of mental illness, maybe even asperger's syndrome.

Why can't ...

On topic:
It's no secret that MS's first round of natal games will be family oriented and fun, rather than hardcore.
I am not sure why this is such a big deal to the ps3 trolls, as MS announced as much just recently:

It stands to reason that the Natal hardware must appeal to the ...

@ cyrax

KZ2 does have lag.
It has 6 frames of input lag, regardless of whether you are moving to overcome inertia or whether you are firing an near-instantaneous bullet
It is explained in the article, which I linked to.

If KZ2 lag is intentional, then why is there the same lag when you are firing? That question was also raised in the article.
It makes very little sense for the developer to claim that the lag simulates 'momentum' and 'inertia', when ...

5804d ago 1 agree4 disagreeView comment

@ biggest.

No, the argument of deliberate kz2 'momentum lag' is null and void, because the same lag applies to when your press the trigger on the gun.
That is explained in the article.
Try reading it before jumping to standard defensive rhetoric.

What you are trying to tell me, is that kz2 has implemented lag because they want the bodies and movements to feel like they have realistic mass and inertia which requires effort and energy to move around, as one...

When we hear reports (unconfirmed and on unfinished hardware) that
Natal uses NO controller and it exhibits 5 frame lag on input, the ps3 troll userbase assembles and bashes NATAL as a failure.

I honestly don't understand, because in the very next breath, they will hold up KZ2 as an unmatched exclusive, yet demonstrably, KZ2 has 6frames input lag - and that's with a controller!
Get a life, guys.

*sighs*

Fact is, the article is examining lag in a variety of contexts.
It is part of a series, in which all consoles
and input methods are being put to the test.

agreed.

The article states:
"in fact the Japanese version of the game gives a mammoth 32.6GB of CGI, living (sic) only 6.8GB for actual gameplay."

only 6.8gb for gameplay?
I guess it's fair to say that the bluray was necessary only for the cgi movies?

Hardly surprising.
We've known this all along.
FFXIII has proven it again.

I am not the one who's doing the spoiling.
Talk to you sad friend, above.

LOL

There's some stalker replying to my posts who didn't get the humorous sarcasm in our comments here.

What a Maroon!
Wish he'd stop it with the obsessive stalking and with hitting 'reply' to my comments.
Is he mentally ill?
Thank god for the public record.
