@ godmars.
Dude, you are wrong.
Did you read the article?
"purchasers in a "single-brand aftermarket" (in this case the Xbox ecosystem) were made aware in advance that any aftermarket products (in this case the memory units and controllers) would need to come from or be authorized by the same company that offers the primary product (the Xbox 360)."
MS made it clear from the get-go that no 3rd party accessories were to be used by...
yeah 93 is a great score, in anyone's language.
Funny thing is, this 93 has *reduced* the metacritic score from 97 to 96.
Fancy that, eh?
a fabulous 93 from ign au, which could ironically be considered the *worst* score on metacritic so far...
Speaks volumes about the quality of this game.
" the Avatar of video games - except it's better written "
wow, high praise indeed from TIME magazine.
It's really disappointing how the ps3 fans are doing backflips over this rumour.
How soon we forget the true facts:

Pay attention, children.
@ saaking
.. but funnily enough, required installs seem to be a-okay with you?
that's a great graphics card comparison page, dchalfont.
I have two questions for you:
Do you know a similar page for graphics card comparisons for x3:reunion?
Do you also know approximately what the 360 gpu is equivalent to in terms of PC graphics cards?
Sounds exceptionally narcissistic.
oh wait..
Surely he meant to say:
"Kojima: "Not many MOVIES come from the team"
uh...
no, still narcissistic.
... unfarted 2 - who cut the cheese?
lol.
I'm here all night, folks!
@ the maxx
I welcome your reply.
You may have a point about the 'trojan horse' bluray effect.
However,
I wonder if you have some verifiable figures that show how bluray profits have offset the 'ps3 trojan horse bluray' overall losses?
My feeling is that the bluray revenue *may* help sony's bottom line, but even when you include bluray profits/losses, it may do little to improve the ps3 overall ongoing losses.
Of course, without o...
I find it interesting that this thread has unfortunately gone completely off-topic.
Where are the mods, I wonder?
I was forced to report several of the above comments as 'off-topic', due to the apparent high-jacking of thread into fanboy rhetoric.
The original story was about the ongoing ps3 losses, so let's try to stay on topic.
So then, without further ado, with regard to the article of this story, it's disappointing to see the ps3 take an indisputable ...
I agree it is shrinking.
But the 360 is now in its 5th year, the ps3 in its fourth.
IS it shrinking fast enough?
Because last time I checked, the ps3 was in last place, worldwide, by a very healthy margin.
You may laugh, but I would probably buy some kind of fitness game if I had Natal.
In my old age, my waistline has expanded a little and a game of this nature might be a fun way to keep fit?
Who knows?
The fitness industry certainly is a massive market.
How many stay at home moms wouldn't love a 'zumba' or 'thai bo' NATAL interactive fitness game in the comfort of their own home?
I think there is a massive market for this kind of thing.
...
Well hmmm the PC version seems to be very slightly better.
Quite honestly, it's great that the 360 game looks so close to the PC game, though.
@ saaking
does the ps3 slim that i bought do ps2 backwards compatibility?
No, Sir, it does not.
It only doesn't do everything.
Bayonetta DOES NOT suck on the PS3
No, it doesn't suck.
But it is MUCH better on the 360.
Them's the facts.
So, the multiplat Bayonetta:
ps3 percent of torn frames: 42.76
360 percent of torn frames: 13.0
ps3 average FPS: 26.33
360 average FPS: 45.82
Load Time 1: PlayStation 3 – 21 sec / Xbox 360 – 14 sec
Load Time 2: PlayStation 3 – 32 sec / Xbox 360 – 16 sec
Load Time 3: PlayStation 3 – 43 sec / Xbox 360 – 19 sec
Load Time 4: PlayStation 3 – 48 sec / Xbox 360 – 19 sec
These undisputable compared measurem...
@ above
I note you have listed some cherrypicked examples to illustrate your point.
What I would ask you to do is keep listing the multiplats.
List them all.
Then find the apples-to-apples comparisons for each of them.
You will find, when you look at the WHOLE set of multiplats, most multiplats are simply better on the 360.
Not only that but even AAA 2010 multiplat titles, like Bayonetta, continue this trend to this ver...
Why would they list multiplats?
Hmmm... is it because they know multiplats tend to be superior on the 360 and represent a unique selling point?
I guess that also explains why Sony doesn't list multiplats...
;)
I has said it like that on purpose, dopey fvcker...
