The absolutely disgusting part, is Bruce has been attacked, using a quote from the 2009 annual report even though Bruce has in fact referenced the most up-to-date Q2 2010 report
Yep, the most recent quarterly report shows a wholly different picture to the 2009 end of year report.
Are VGchartz correct with their estimate of 5.9million gap?
hmmm. Maybe they are a little optimistic.
It stands to reason that none of us really know exactly how much MS and SOny have sold/shipped, but I would suggest the gap is about 5.5 million right now.
Which means in 2009, the year of the SLIM, the year of the $100 PS3 pricedrop, the year of UC2, the year of KZ2, the Gap has only really closed by 2.5 - 3 million.

With regard to this edge score of 6/10, I think it's a bit harsh.
a 7 or 8 out of ten seems more appropriate.
Heck, 256 players online, onscreen all at once... that's worth 7/10, imo.

All of the reviews I have seen so far have been from France.
We have seen some solid scores for HR from their fellow frenchmen.
Is it patriotism?
Who knows.
In the end, reputable websites from around the world will provide additional meaningful consensus.
I agree with the posters above, the MS 360 hard-drive add-ons are way, way overpriced.
MS needs to recognise that overpriced HDD add-ons do little to win favour with savvy consumers.
However, this strategy also maintains the elite with included hdd as a good value proposition, in comparison to buying a cheap arcade and adding bits later.

The 360 version and ps3 version are played 'as is' straight out of the packaging.
No changing brightness, no compensation. nothing.

Yeah, no-one really knows how much the 360 costs to manufacture and distribute.
Some obsessive users on n4g try to tell lies and speculate based on dubious data exactly how much the 360 profits/loses on hardware, even in this very thread. It's not hard to pick the Sony fanboys with an angry and insecure agenda.
Fact is, MS has not published the raw data of 360 profitability.
Neither has Sony, for that matter.

i am quite surprised at these specs.
They seem rather low.
But if the specs are right, then this would give MANY gamers with older/average PCs a chance to play the game.
in my case, my laptop won't run it... it's too weak.
Thus I am considering upgrading to a i5 750 system, purely for this game.

Agreed. a great year for gamers on 360, PC and ps3 also.
Have to admit, Heavy rain does not excite me much at all, based on the demo vid shown recently. The movement of the main character was stiff and awkward. I really hope they fix that before release. Let's hope we don't have to wait for a 135mb patch a la Bayonetta ps3.

If history is any guide, then it's highly likely that the 360 version will feature higher framer-rates, less frame-tear, better textures and lower loading times.
Since 2006, PS3 multiplats have shown a clear inferiority that has continued to this day.
FFxiii will likely be the same, sdf fanboys notwithstanding.
