Performance in a match shouldn't have anything to do with platform unless something weird is going on in the code. Fighting games use p2p instead of servers for matches, so the lag is entirely dependent on player connections and netcode. Matchmaking and the lobbies would be using the servers though, and may get congested.
I'm guessing you misread his statement. PS4 sales passed 3DS sales some time ago, which is doubly impressive for a console that came out years later.
When you're at the bottom of the comment section you have to shout to be heard at the top.
@bolimekurac
I believe Mr Marvel intended to point out that he believes that the exclusives Xbox does get aren't the same quality as Playstation exclusives, not that there aren't any.
I'm not gonna bother discussing the pitiful Steam = W10 excuse, but you have to see that it's shaky at best.
Aya Hirano is the JP VA? Is she still a thing? I was under the impression she had burned a lot of bridges.
I enjoy her work, though, so I'm happy to hear it.
"can't effectively fondle the nipples of the controller"
I never pictured the analog sticks of a controller as breasts before, but I have a feeling I might not be able to get that idea out of my head now. How will I ever play console games normally ever again?
fighting games don't use servers they use p2p. Xbox won't be any less laggy unless they use different netcode for some reason.
You have a point there. I'd still argue Dualshock for 4 button fighters like MK.
@naruga
New Generation is in this collection, but it won't be one of the online games.
From the modder in question:
"Q: Is there console versions available?
A: IF everything in the mod works and exports properly through the CK, I will release Xbox and PS4 versions. I want to make sure the PC version is stable before I do so."
Come on guys, that took me all of 2 minutes to find.
When it isn't finished or subpar to the rest of the game, throwing in cut content can be disastrous to the game as a whole. You need look no further than the Saturn version of Symphony of the Night, which had much more content than the PlayStation version, but far worse cohesion.
I am most certainly not an Xbox fanboy, but it's pretty telling about you that you thought so. You obviously didn't read my comment correctly btw.
This is most likely bad code at work here. Respawn really should have caught this.
Just goes to show that the narrative some still had of XB1X versions of games being patched in a single day is just plain silly. It may be true -looking at what these devs did- that you could try to get away without optimizing for weeks afterwards, but should they? Probably not.
Assassin's Creed Origins uses almost entirely the same textures on PC as the base PS4 according to Digital Foundry. Xbox One X is not going to be getting higher resolution textures than PC.
In fact, resolution, shadow quality, and distant LOD are really the only stand out improvements PC has over the Pro, which seemed to underwhelm DF.
Since Soviet Russia
I know what you're saying, but I'm a pretty big TLoU fan and I thought that was Ellie at first because of how low quality bit-rate the stream I was watching was. I recognized Laura Bailey's voice but my brain tricked me into thinking it was Ellie because I was certain the trailer would be showing Ellie.
Even with beer goggle vision it seemed weird that Ellie would be so jacked, so I guess I should have known.
If only we had gotten that rumored SW Han Solo action game we could have seen if he lived or died by the end of it.
The Japanese have, uh, skank ideas too. They just focus most of them towards the burgeoning mobile market. They also produce expensive, addicting visual novels.
Lol, have you seen Persona's track record? That would be par for the course.
