So many updates for Xbox One and not one for PS4. The PS4 is missing a lot of features and Sony should be rolling them out ASAP. I hate that Sony take their time to release new features, but now, they are not new features, they are MISSING features that should have been since day 1!
I have a feeling this is going to be just like Assasin's Creed 1. Good for the time, but with a lot of room for improvement for the sequel. Then, Ubisoft might want to milk the franchise.
from those you mentioned, I would like Persona, Uncharted and Killzone. I love littlebigplanet, but I know I like to play it with friends, so the PS3 version is more convenient for me. I hated Soul Sacrifice when I tried the demo. I haven't seen much of Dragon's Crown. I will never touch Wipeout game in a long time after all the frustration to get the platinum of the PS3 version! and definitely not interested in Assasin's Creed.
Actually, I would like Tearaway. S...
I actually just purchased a Vita because of Remote Play, which is a feature I will be using a lot once I have a PS4. I have Gravity Rush which is amazing and waiting for the sequel, already announced. I don't really have any interest in Vita games except for Person 4 Golden. Too bad Sony doesn't invest in the Vita, because it's a great device. However, I can understand why they are letting it die.
Who can answer this? What is the quality of video of the PS4 in rem...
Am I the only one who wants a more cinematic Zelda. Not necessarily linear, but it would be awesome to have big bosses and some scripted events to make the story move forward. Also, I would love an unconventional way to progress the story. Zelda has had the same formula since Ocarina of Time, but I also wouldn't want to see a mission like progression as Assassin's Creed. Another thing, Zelda tech demo graphics or better!
IDK, I think Nintendo has a huge responsibility...
Every generation should be decided by Software. As you said, better hardware allows for better software. However, that doesn't mean that a great game could not be released for Wii U, PS Vita or 3DS, even if they are not the best hardware.
If you can go underwater now, then there are no hazards anymore?? One part of Mario Kart was that you could fall into the water or out of the track, but now it doesn't matter???
I would have preferred if they did like Diddy Kong Racing where there are boats and planes, or like Sonic Transformed that the kart changes, because going underwater seems very silly to me.
Also, the antigravity parts should have clever camera angles so that you could notice you a...
Yeah, Nintendo will have to stick with the Wii U for this generation and rely on releasing great games at least from first party. This situation could force Nintendo to revisit old franchises like F-Zero, Starfox, Metroid, etc since there is very little third party support, so that's a good thing for Nintendo lovers.
However, Nintendo needs to drag the Wii U until the very end of the generation so that next console is on par with the competition and don't be again in...
The only thing I didn't like was when he talked about the esRAM as if it was the best thing ever and could surpass the PS4.
Nintendo lost the great opportunity to rebrand the gamecube controller. That would've been the smartest move. Maybe modify it a bit so that it has a second stick, instead of the C stick, but that's it.
Really? I swear that after all these years I've never noticed that there was no music! LOL
It's not endless though! Look at Guitar Hero and Rockband. They died out due to exhaustion. Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, etc might take longer, but they'll die someday.
Cutscenes should be skippable when there is a boss or something that makes you replay a segment several times.
It just depends on the game and the situation, really.
it really is! He has been responsible for a lot of games that have been announced or released for Xbox One, like Killer Instinct and Sunset Overdrive. I mean, he was able to make a deal with Insomniac for an exclusive. He has the skill for the job.
Definitely!. Greenberg sucks.. I don't know if he sucks at his job, but he shouldn't be seen in public never again. Major is alright, but he has to be able to control situations better
I lost every interest I had in the Xbox with the Xbox 360, but this guy has the potential to change around the Xbox brand to what it was with the original. As long as he quits doing unfair business tactics (that MS used to do last gen) and focus on more support from first and third party, the Xbox is in great hands.
He can make the Xbox One what Sony did with the PS3. Turn it around to make it an excellent console. Let's hope for the better.
"In all honesty; when he announced that they were planning to out-source their IPs to other devs, it made me realize that maybe he's starting to warm up to the idea that Nintendo can't survive by themselves alone"
The thing is, Nintendo doesn't need to outsource their IPs to other developers. They need developers to do games for Nintendo consoles. People don't care if Mario is made by Nintendo or by Namco. It's still Mario, and if it's a good...
Agree. Iwata should be replaced. He has done great things for Nintendo, but right now the company needs someone fresh that can fix all this mess with innovative ideas and good decisions.
Miyamoto might probably still have great ideas for Nintendo franchises, and they have very capable developers. However, third party support for the Wii U is practically dead and they must act quickly .
I wouldn't want to be in Iwata's position right now. What is the...
Since when is 80+ considered average?!
what I mean by not one, is that there hasn't been a significant update that includes missing features or new features. Yes, there has been updates for security and stuff like that, but that's it.
