I might be alone in this one, but I would much prefer interactive documentaries with VR than games. I don't know how VR is, but it seems like it would be a great experience to have something like that. After all, the only genres of games that I see completely working with VR is FPS and Racing games. Although Mirror's Edge would be sick with it! (it's first person though).
It is a cash grab for people that have already played it; but then again, if they want to buy it again, it's their problem. I for one, think it's stupid but they want to waste the money. Sadly though, if this becomes popular, publisher will spend more time making this, instead of real, new games.
With that said, if someone hasn't played it at all, it's a very good opportunity to do so.

From what I see, The use of VR is going to be more like a "new" genre, because there are some style of games that will never fit VR. Obviously, the most immersive games will be FPS. Other than that, I don't see a practical use of VR unless is something gimmicky or tacked on just to use it.

I think is a mistake calling the modes "For Fun" and For Glory". I think it divides the user base. For fun seems like an "super guide mode".
I think the best would have been just to select what you want from a menu and not divide it into two different modes.

Why I don't understand is, For Glory is like a ranked match? Why limit it only to one kind of stage and no items?? Why is wrong to have a for glory mode with items and everything the game has to offer?
At least that's how it sounds like to me. For Fun just a quick match to have fun with friends, and For Glory isolate everyone for Pro Players, so no chance to have a "complete" experience.

It can go both ways. Since it was announced for Xbox One, Microsoft could have made a deal with Square Enix to make an appearance at their show. However, if the game will release first in Japan, then it could be more likely to be at Sony's.
It's funny how everyone tries to guess what the next announcement is going to be, and what's going to be revealed at E3. They all try to get leaks and talk to insiders to know about what's coming... Then, all the leaks and guesses get announced and everyone is disappointed because they ONLY announced what was leaked so there were no surprises.

I think so too. They were having a lot of technical problems with the PS3. Ueda wanted to have life-like animations for the beast and maybe the PS3 couldn't handle them.

I wonder two things:
1) How much of an improvement will it be? Tomb Raider was a nice improvement, but nothing actually impressive at all. Hopefully there's more to it than just 1080p/60fps and DLC included.
2) Who was in charge of the remaster? Was it Naughty Dog or was some other developer?
Well, maybe the hardcore totally professional smb gamers didn't like it? It seems that Nintendo is really approaching them with this game. If so, it would make sense.
The only thing I didn't like was the characters no longer transform. It was good strategy to play as Samus and then transform into Zero Suit Samus.
Well, that was a Rare developed game, and I think they have the rights of the IP.They would never be able to release another game because Diddy is from Nintendo, and then it would just be other game entirely.
