It sucks that publishers always give the good stuff to the press instead of the consumers. They prefer to bribe the press for a good score, than offer something valuable for the costumer who is actually going to buy the game.
I remember a note on Kotaku about the press kit for press of the Mickey game which came with a beautifully colored manual and package, and that is something that should be collector's edition for consumers.
Mega Man X4 is the best of the series!
I don't get why people judge this game as if it was the savior of the PS4. It's the first AAA game for the console from Sony, and there are a lot more coming that we can't even imagine yet. The game is great and fun just like the other 2 and it's about enjoying it. In any moment is it supposed to be the best game ever. Reviewers just keep grading Sony exclusives more strict than MS's and Nintendo's, I don't know why; but Sony keeps delivering.

At the time I think it was. It was revolutionary and did a lot of things that served as a "blueprint" for future games. It had great gameplay mechanics, great technology for the time.
Obviously, there are now better games, but Mario 64 an Zelda were really pioneers of 3D games.
My concern is that developers, instead of making games exclusively for VR so that they take advantage of it, they will just make normal games with VR just implemented; because you know, they wouldn't make games only for PS. So basically, the people actually taking advantage of could be, once again, first party developers.
As I said it before, the games should be made around VR and not just implement VR for the sake of it.
I actually think that the dual, haptic trackpads could work much better than analog sticks, if programmed correctly. It looks as if there is more possibilities of control with the trackpads.
Hopefully they get it right, because it does seem to have potential.
The battery is not a big deal now that the PS4 can charge while in stand by mode. Also, if someones play more time than the battery of the controller lasts, I think they are playing more time than they should.
Sony will probably update DS4 with a better battery in the future (even if they don't even announce it), so this thing will be useless in no time.
TJ Combo, Riptor and Cinder are a must! If they are making a story mode, they have to have a final boss, which could either make a new one, or have Gargos and/or Eyedol.
Let's see how lucky I am!!! ... yeah right.
Definitely Uncharted 2. It has the best story of the three and has the most polished gameplay (even with its mistakes). Uncharted 1 was great too since it was a new experience at a time.
Uncharted 3 however, while it's good, coming after Uncharted 2, it felt rushed. The controls were bad (they had to updated), the story had a lot of plot holes and the characters weren't very good developed. It is still a great game with tremendous action and stunning visuals and tech...
I don't care what they announce, and probably there will be great announcements... but don't they dare to mess with Final Fantasy XV and not even think about messing with Kingdom Hearts 3.
They can do whatever they want, but leave those two games alone! They already took the exclusivity from PS. That's more then enough!
I'm nervous about the new team that will be in charge of KI. Double Helix made a surprisingly great job with the game, and it's a shame that they have to leave it incomplete.
I can't a recall a game where a change of developer mid cycle have been good, but hopefully this is an exception. After all, Phil Spencer said he was interested in reviving old Rare franchises. This could mean MS will give more importance to these games.
I too want to buy an...
now that the article has been updated, your rant makes no sense.. LOL (no offense)
Sorry for my skepticism but I don't see how that's in game graphics. If so, color me surprised.
I smell a Titanfall "Sigma" coming to PS4 soon. There is no way EA will not do some changes so that the first Titanfall comes to the PS.
It might be compatible, but might no be suitable. You might be able to play mario with a guitar from guitar hero, but that doesn't mean it's the right way.
I would like them to do games for VR that can only experience and enjoy with VR. That would be nice.
Since this is probably going to be expensive. They should treat it like a new platform, unlike move or kinect. This way, they make games ONLY for it, to take advantage and avoid making games that are more suited for traditional gameplay and forcing the VR on them.
Sony should focus on making great experiences for VR, and separate the PS4 games. Otherwise we could see the mistake Sony and MS made with Move and Kinect respectively, again.
VR has potential, bu...
In Mexico, the Xbox One in Walmart, was discounted from MXN$8,499 ($640) to MXN$5,990 ($450). They told me the price cut is because they were overstocked.
I think that the reason last generation was longer is because games take longer to develop. During PS1 and PS2, games would take 1 or 2 years to be made, and the library of games would increase very fast. With the PS3, and now PS4, games can take 2 years up to 5 years or more, so for those companies, wouldn't be good to finish a game on a console, just to move on to the next for the next game.
And most of the press kits for every game are much better than any collector's edition ever released to the public. That's a shame!
