I think that on the contrary, Uncharted was left in great hands. They'll most likely make a great game. It's their debut game on the PS4 and they'll probably want to impress everyone. After E3 all these articles are going to be more useless and will make no sense at all.

You know a franchise is milked when they use years instead of numbers to refer to the newest one.
For instance they could make a more thrilling story. Have twist and surprises, and a faster pace. They can do it like Dark Souls which have a connected wold and you just go and explore everything as you see fit. The 'hub' could be hyrule field maybe. Another thing, is that Hyrule should be a complete city, totally explorable. Actually, Zelda SHOULD look like Dark Souls. The environments, armors, etc are a perfect fit for Zelda Universe.

Uncharted won't be dated at E3. They will probably show a trailer and say it releases 2015 (No way it releases this year).
Then at VGAs we will se gameplay and either
1) Release in Summer like the Last of Us
2) Release in November like every other Uncharted

There will be a time when monthly updates will not be necessary, but at the moment both consoles should be working every hour on getting both consoles at least to where predecessors were!
In that regard Microsoft is doing a better job than Sony. Sony keeps being secretive about their updates and also they are still not consistent on delivering them.

The sole reason to view/read a review is to know if you want to spend money on the product being reviewed, so that you know more of the product and evaluate if it's of value to you. The Last Guardian has a higher probability to be shown. They keep working on it, and it's pretty obvious it has been developed for the PS4.
Agent on the other hand, has never existed. They announced a LOGO. Not even a trailer or a teaser. They had the idea, they made negotiation, but I could bet not even one polygon was made for Agent.
I would like another kind of story. In the 3 games we got the same supernatural "twist". I would like for it to be somewhat different. Either other kind of twist, or go in a more "realistic" direction like the Last of Us, but with more action and near-to-death-but-miracoulsy-n athan-saves-himself-and-the-oth ers sequences. Those are fun.
The only thing that you need to worry is that it doesn't play like Uncharted 3. The shooting mechanics were horrible (thankfully later patched and fixed), but overall it felt disappointing.
I didn't like that there were hordes of enemies and a lot of them forced you to melee with them, because the focus was the melee on it (sadly). Then, there were so many enemies that were bullet sponges.

Not necessarily! Remember that COD became successful after the reveal of COD 4. Even after they showed Killzone 4 which was much more impressive in all fronts. However, COD 4 had a very innovative multiplayer (at the time).
If the new one manages to impress like COD 4 did, people will be excited for sure.
