Definitely not an announcement at E3 when they will show Uncharted. The game might be in development, but definitely way too son to announce yet.
They will have to focus on the gamepad because it's supposed to be the Wii U selling point. However, I could guarantee that motion controls will be an option to play the game.
The only thing I ask for is to feel the same excitement and epicness that I felt when I saw Ocarina of Time.
When Twilight Princess was announced it was also epic, but half of the trailer wasn't on the final game, and Ocarina has better pace too.
I don't see it lasting! I think it's going to face the same problems as 3D, motion controls and touch controls: They can't be used in a variety of genres and game play.
Of course it's going to excite a lot of people because it's going to be something new and different, but the novelly it's going to wear out just like motion controls.
I actually see VR having a better use outside of gaming. Just like how many crazy things people have do...
I have a feeling that both Sony and Microsoft are going to talk more about games we already know, than unannounced games! :(
Actually, the secret ending of KH2 which was the announcement of KH:BBS was the darkest in the franchise. Also, In KH3, Sora and friends are going to be older, and the story will be about dark and light, so I do except a darker story.
Now, darker doesn't mean God of War or anything like that, but if could be the first KH rated Teen, just like how happened with Zelda Twilight Princess.
"Journalists" are the ones hating because no longer can they feel exclusive regarding Nintendo announcements at E3. With this new format, people get the information at the same time, and "journalists" can no longer brag that they tried a game, because now everyone can go to a best buy and try them for themselves.
This has to be real!.
Just hopefully is not a game that was cancelled or a project that was just intended for something else.
IF the game doesn't disappoint.
They made an epic Mario, with Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 (New music, new mechanics, better graphics, etc). They have now made an epic Mario Kart.
It's Zelda turn to be epic. The graphics should be at least like the demo. The demo itself was epic! They should stick with that, or even better, improve it!
For me, If they go with cell shade again, a companion (like Navi, Fi, etc), same old story and ripof...
Games are starting to leak! Great stuff for E3. But people then are going to be disappointed that there were not any surprises at the show. (because everything gets leaked beforehand).
My guess is that they decided on more action with FF 13-3 because of FF XV, maybe so that people start getting used to it. However, the game was supposed to be one part of three games, so being an ARPG wouldn't have matter that much.
Now that it's a full numbered title, is understandable that people is skeptic, but I trust that the game is going to PLAY great!. I just hope that the story is as good.
I want FF 15 to be a much more improved gameplay style from Kingdom Hearts 2, but then I want Kingdom Hearts 3 to be a much improved gameplay from FF 15. Just imagine, it would be so much fun!
I actually got very interested on the story from FF 13, but they completely ruined it with FF13-2 and destroyed it with FF13-3. Worst trilogy ever! All the potential that it had, and it was obvious the writers didn't have any idea how to continue the story, which makes it obvious ...
When we get to see the games are coming for PS4 on E3 we will never look at The Last of Us the same way.
And when we get to see the game that release in 5 years, we will never see the games announced at this E3 the same way.
Remember Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted when they were announced? And look at them now.
Naughty Dog using The Last of Us on PS4 as a learning opportunity,
One related news:
Sony is using The Last of Us on PS4 as a money opportunity.
I disagree. Where would the story go? Also, Sony Santa Monica have been working on God of War forever. They deserve to make a new game and prove themselves and the fans that they are worth more than just one game.
At the very least, they could make a spiritual successor. It'd be different, we'd get the GOW feeling, but it'd be a different game.
EDIT: Wrote this comment before reading the article, and it said the same thing. So, I guess people woul...
Mark my words: If the show Zelda Wii U and it's epic, they will win E3 by default.
I just hope it's a more traditional game, instead of a third game with Heavy Rain's and Beyond's gameplay mechanics.
EDITED:
The parity clause is BS, but I think it affects Microsoft more than anyone else. (And obviously Xbox consumers).
Great point! It's FREE! So why does it matter if it is a demo? Still has more content!
ND already announced an Uncharted, so it's definitely coming before another Last of Us
