"...as we divulge into this vortex of intricacies..."
I think he was TRYING to say "delve", rather than "divulge"; his usage of the word shows he's just picking words to make him SOUND smart, even if he has no clue how to use them. This guy likely only owns Sony or Nintendo products, and runs Linux on his PC. :o
...somehow, the terms "broadcast" and "closed beta" don't fit well together. Perhaps such a limited offering should be termed a "shortcast" or a "localcast". :/
...has only really gone down in the past couple years. When the 360 and PS3 were in their final design/planning stages, RAM was still at a premium. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if Sony releases a PS3 "slim" in a couple years, with the 45 nm chipset AND additional RAM, to finish out the last 5 years on a high note. MS, on the otherhand, will just hang in there until they launch their next console, since they won't follow Sony's 10-year plan.
...it will more likely be the next big over-hyped flop. :o
...they were talking about the GAME'S OPTIONS being "more multifunctional than a GF Grill", ya dork. :o
...good eyes. :D How did this get approved? o_0
...because MS will have another pricedrop by then AS WELL. By next Spring/Summer, the 360 pricing will likely be Arcade/$229 (assuming the Wii gets a holiday pricedrop), 60 gb Pro/$299, 120 gb Elite/$349...or something similar.
...when you have to install 5gb on your HDD to play your games....thus using up your HDD advantage AS WELL. FAIL. :)
LOL....the funny thing is, the PS3's biggest "game", is actually a movie in disquise...or rather, "camo". ;)
...there are some truly pathetic, ignorant fanboys in here. Take that moronic crap that way >>>. This "delay" isn't even NEWSWORTHY, and CERTAINLY not bragging rights material. Sheesh. :o
...after you ignored UT3, and wasted a timed exclusive, I doubt you'll get another game from Epic PERIOD....but CERTAINLY not a MS exclusive franchise. :D
"You think a year old game with zero mod support is going to sell over 3 million copies?"
I doubt it will do that much, considering the competition it will have this fall. But, one things for certain...it'll outsell the PS3 version, 3-1.
...and I'm sure, by now, even EPIC realizes what an "EPIC" mistake they made by putting this game on the PS3. From now on, I'm sure they'll stick to PC/360 exclusivity...where the (Un)real money is. ;)
...will not be an issue with the 360 version, thankfully. I'm sure, by now, EPIC realizes what an "EPIC" mistake they made by putting this game on the PS3. From now on, I'm sure they'll stick to PC/360 exclusivity...where the (Un)real money is. ;)
While I honestly think this would be a lame, and stupid move on the part of MS...it would be DAMN FUNNY if they managed to launch it before HOME. :D
Why did this moron feel the need to single out the 360?
....apparently, crime did not exist, prior to the birth of the video game industry. THERE'S something they don't teach in history class. :o
"Somewhere in the region of 50% of 360 and PS3 owners do not use their machine online"
No, over 60% of 360 owners are Gold subscribers, and those with a silver account can still get patches. As for the PS3, it's really tough to know, since it's a free service...but there's DEFINITELY a lot fewer people on PSN than LIVE.
...Marketplace is FREE. The only thing not available to Silver members, is online MP and voice chat.
Edit: Again...get your facts straight, kiddo. The PS3 STILL doesn't have universal in-game XMB, and likely NEVER WILL (at least not one that functions as well as the 360s)....something MS has had since LIVE launched in 2002. Why? The same reason not every PS3 title has online functionality, and ALL 360 games do: because Sony doesn't provide the tools and/or work environment...
...but Crackdown does it better. If you use Keys to the City, and drop in maximum barrels, park a ton of cars, stick a sh1tload of proxy mines to them, then blow them up......it looks like a nuclear bomb. :)
