There's no head-2-head online play PERIOD. And other than the checkpoint/rally racing, all other forms of racing in the game could/should have had online funtionality; Codemasters was just lazy.
Yeah, we all know what a critical difference a few weeks can make. :o
I rented this last week, and was really enjoying it...awesome racing action and graphics....until I tried to play with a buddy on LIVE. When I realized we couldn't play, I was cussing like a sailor....then took the game back and got The Darkness.
I really don't understand why Codemasters did this. They've always had excellent online play with their TOCA series, so there's no reason to leave it out of this. I guess I'll just have to wait for TOCA 4, which is using the sa...
This isn't Sony, who likes to milk their tech far beyond what it's worth (i.e. the newest/slimmest PS2 V.3 announcement). MS is already working on their next console, and likely will be ready to launch by 2010; at this rate, they likely won't make it past the 45nm reduction.
It was called the XBOX, and the PS2 kept bumping it's head on the XBOX's ass, trying to keep up. :o
...Halo 3 is a FPS, just like 1 & 2. Simply put, there's no f@cking way that's "in-game"...meaning from gameplay...unless H3 will be a 3rd person shooter, and there will be NO on-screen HUD or radar. Halo 3 will look great, no doubt...but THAT great. :o
LOL...dumbest comment I've read in a while. If you actually believe that's true, need to see a shrink. 0_o
It's quite the opposite (even though some idiot disagreed with me); they used a screenshot from DNF, likely because they have nothing to show yet, and figured most people wouldn't recognize it. :o
1.) The PSP is pretty much a handheld PS2.
2.) Anyone who buys one, is obviously not interested in a PS3; it's silly to keep giving them more reasons not to want one.
You only post spam. :o
1% also happens to be the % of people actually interested in the PS3. :o
like about 3 months old. :o
They couldn't provide a screenshot, so they just used one from Duke Nukem Forever....classic.
Sorry guys, but that looks like XBOX 1, with slightly better facial mapping; I checked out other screens at IGN, and they don't look any better....COD2 quality. Big mistake letting Slant Six make this game. Zipper better be ready to blow the world away with Socom 4, because this is going to hurt the franchise, and the PS3.

"Microsoft...JUMP IN for Sloppy seconds....
360 users love SLOPPY seconds!!!
Used by more than 50 million gamers, 360 users and MS can enjoy SLOPPY seconds from Devil May Cry 4, Grand Theft Auto 4, etc...
Sloppy seconds....Jump in before going RED with the ring of death...
Hey on your second or third refurbished machine? 360 users LOVE SLOPPY seconds!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
...because you're wrong???
The Halo 3 trailer was "real-time", but not indicative of actual gameplay; anyone who expects those graphics in-game....especially after the MP Beta...is a fool. The same can be said of the tech demo for Heavy Rain. Quantic Dream stated it had nothing to do with the game, was created to show off the engine. You can use a game engine to create a CG movie...it's done all the time.
Crimson Skies: HRTR was 10x better....and it was an XBOX launch title.
As for the sequel, and any supposed improvements, and PS3 "exclusive features", I'll believe it when I see it. Other than the useless Sixaxis integration (the 360's new flight stick should be compatible, and MUCH better), there's no reason to believe anything else...or something more... won't come to 360 via LIVE, at some point. Ubisoft, like EA is known for multiplatform dev., and rarely does A...
At least when they get a port...or even a game released the same time as the 360 version...they get it for $10-$20 less than the 360 gamers. THAT is a reason to b1tch. :o
...in an older issue of GameInformer, when they interviewed the co-owner of Bizarre Creations. Apparently it was made public later, because I found this via Google:

With the superior compression techniques used in 360 titles (almost nonexistent in PS3 titles), it could be ported onto 2 discs easily. Since the MGS games have so many cutscenes...much more than actual gameplay...it would be very easy to break the game into 2 discs.
EDIT: Shadowflare, you moron...learn to f@cking read. I said the cutscenes would make it easy to put on more than one disc...you know, since they're separate from the gameplay. Cutscenes are like commercials...t...
