Lair is the game the 360 OWNERS don't WANT to touch...not even with a 50 foot pole.
Whoever captured those "screens", either A.) doesn't have a fvcking clue what they're doing, B.) doesn't have the proper software, or C.) THEY are the ones who used Photoshop...not Epic.
The only "smear" going on here, is the author's attempt at a smear campaign against a very successful franchise, and it's highly anticipated sequel.
Bottom line, the game looks awesome, and these screens are fake. Only pathetic/desperate Sony fanboys would give this a secon...

-still lacking features the XBOX had in 2001
-still lacking dev support/confidence from many heavy hitters
-still struggling to match/exceed the 360 in sales, in most markets...even with the dominant PS2 market share, and 360's RROD issues.
-Blu-Ray victory WASN'T a true victory...just the inevitable end of a format war, that MOST people didn't even know existed. Blu-Ray still stands a chance of being another UMD.

While that may/may not be true....it still doesn't change the facts. The facts are: GTAIV did NOT break Halo 3's 5-day record, as the writer seems to think. Period.
It's like saying somebody beat the land speed record for the muscle car class...using a jet-powered funny car. It's a bogus statement.

Um...no it didn't. Halo 3 sold $280 million AS A 360 EXCLUSIVE, during that same time period. It's like comparing apples to oranges. In a FAIR comparison, the 360 version of GTAIV didn't come CLOSE to Halo 3.
BTW, I didn't like Halo 2 OR 3...just pointing out facts. :o
...it DEFINITELY won't be coming to the PS3, now that Intel owns the property. Aside from being a fairly foreign architecture...the Cell is also in direct competition with Intel's future CPU line. It's only a matter of time until IBM starts moving that tech into the PC market to go up against Intel; I don't see Intel giving them a free tech demo of their competitor's CPU.
Nothing about the 360 is a "threat" to Intel...it's essentially a PC, with tech akin to current low-to...
