...like a fresh pile of SHlT. Did this game start out as a PS2 title, then get shifted to next-gen late? For a game that's only listed as PC/360/PS3, it doesn't appear to use ANY hardware capabilities of the 3 platforms. Something tells me they used the same engine from last-gen, so it can be easily ported to PS2/Wii later...after it FAILS.
Well, they DID hire someone from iD as well, so who knows?
Oh, I agree....Gears looks BETTER, at least judging by THOSE screens. K2 looks great, and I've got no problem admitting it. But, to say, as cahill did, that it's the "best...ever", is fvcking stupid. And all the drooling over these lackluster screens, only makes you look MORE stupid. Again, BLACK looked better than those screens.
Basically, the PSP 3000 isn't really a handheld, but rather the smallest PS2 console EVER. Perhaps the should have called it the PS2 SuperDuperSlim model. :p

Everybody who was trashing the Gears 2 screens, is in here having virtual orgasms over the K2 screens....which don't look ANY BETTER. Hell, these are some of the WORST screens that I've seen for this game, to date, and you guys are going on and on about art direction, colors, etc. WTF are you smokin', to make you see all that? All I see, are BLACK (Criterion's last-gen fps) level graphics/textures, with 3 primary colors, and little detail.

Console gamers don't have to build their own hardware, from components bought online, to be able to afford to play a game in optimized form.
You say it's a "slow" push toward being like PC, but 360/PC games are, in many ways, equal to, if not BETTER than most PC titles. Sure, you'll always have a Crysis, developed SOLELY for the purpose of selling new chipsets and gra...
...but they're spreading themselves too thin, of late. BIA:HH should have been released OVER a YEAR ago, and it's going to release to mediocre sales, and with outdated graphics. Their other projects, Aliens:CM and Borderlands have been vaporware, thus far; I honestly doubt both will make it in 2009...if at ALL.
Taking on something as big as HALO 4, before they finish their other big projects, can only spell doom for one, or all, of them. MS needs to buy up an independant...

At the rate they're going, they won't even CATCH UP, before MS releases their next console. The 360 still has almost the EXACT SAME LEAD, that it had from launching a year early (U.S./EU); Sony has hardly put a DENT in it, in 2 years time. :o
