That's really irrelevant, considering that HDD would only work in a 360, if you cracked the original's casing, thus voiding the warranty.

They can play awesome games like Bioshock, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Gears 1 (and soon 2), Halo 3, Dead Rising, COD4, R6V 1 & 2, NG2, DMC4, GRID, GTAIV...and HUNDREDS more...for only a $225 (+ tax) hardware investment. It's common knowledge that the 360's alpha dev kits were suped-up Mac G5 rigs. Hell, most MS execs have both Windows PCs AND Macs in their offices.

...because I've used similar logic, for holding out on getting a PS3. By the time it has enough quality exclusives I'm interested in, the price will be around $300, and a lot of earlier titles will be dirt cheap. However, by that time, I'll either not care about playing games that old, or the next XBOX will be ready to launch. I likely will NEVER bother with the PS3, because Sony was greedy at launch, and didn't have enough games I wanted since.

Turn 10 is a 1st party dev under MSGS. MS owns the PGR ip, AS WELL as the Forza ip. Bizarre Creations CAN'T make another PGR, unless it's exclusively for MS.

...why millions of people are duped into buying Nintendo's rehashed hardware. First they took the GameBoy Advance chipset, repackaged it with an extra (often unutilized) screen, and charged 4x the price of a GBA. Then, they do the exact same thing with the Gamecube, by regurgitating the same tech in the Wii....for 3x the price of a GC.

Metal Gear is Sony's Halo...even though it's not even a true 1st party franchise. No other franchise has sold more consoles for Sony, and few have sold more games. The only other flagship franchises Sony has that have ALWAYS been mainstays, are Gran Turismo, and FF...and they really shouldn't be compared to a hardcore FPS, as a fair comparison.
The thing is, Konami/Sony have milked the Metal Gear franchise to FVCK...

1.) This isn't NEW...the 360 has ALWAYS kept up with your achievements in this manner, just not on the front end of the blade system. You have to actually look under "Achievements", and there it is.
2.) It's meant as an incentive for replay value, and it has worked INGENIOUSLY. MS doesn't get ENOUGH credit for what they've brought to this gen.
