10-12 hours? try 6 hours.
Try $550 in NZ without a game and without a memory card or 3G plan. All up you're looking down the barrel at $800NZ if you're serious about getting the most out of your Vita day 1.
Anyway, this should be more about how many PSP owners will upgrade to a Vita. However, given there are probably more PSP than PS3 owners the stats would not make for as good reading.
I don't know. I think E.T. may still top the list for worst game ever made.

I'd love a sequel to monsters and not a sequel that feels like dlc like they did with shooter.
The demo for this was a blast and my kids have put it on their xmas wish list.
Nothing about the visuals. Its about how all the infrastructure and game engine held up. If you had a brain you'd know that.
This is why no one should be defending that mess that was the beta. If they had wanted to fix these issues before the game was released then the beta should have been released 6 months ago.
I had a Go and agree you could do what I was suggesting with it but as you indicated its a bit under powered. With re: the Vita I doubt it could pull off PS3 visuals on a 1080p display.
Thanks to competition portable devices are increasing in capability at a steady rate. I can soon see a day when you'll get home and you'll dock your portable device with your TV, you'll pick up a blutooth controller and it becomes a console type experience.
How do the final MP visuals compare to those in the beta?
You know, you can say the same thing about Sony. They don't include internal storage for the Vita and you have to buy a proprietary format card.
All depends on the style of game I would have thought. Just like some games only need one analog and others need two. There are some great games to be had on phones and tablets because they have been designed with touch screen controls in mind.
I'm not comparing the Go to the Vita. I'm saying at what point will the Vita be considered a success so Sony does not abandon it like they did the Go.
Does Sony need to sell 10 million units in the first quarter, year, etc.
Why even compare the two devices?!? they are aimed at different audiences. I do however think that Vita wont ship as many Vitas as Apple ships IPhones. So, big question is what number of Vitas will need to sell to avoid it going the same way as the Go?
my kids never got to enjoy the original J&D...they are in for a treat!
@Nathan: when the PSP launched at least they included a 32MB card for games saves. They should include at least a 2GB card with the Vita.
Keep in the US but have some of the story take you off shore.
Looks pretty solid but nothing in that video we have not played before. Only really disappointing thing are the particle effects. Yet again we get thick black smoke that disappears like steam.
Yet another NZ game site review that makes no mention of the multiplayer lobby. MP games that don't feature host/region searches almost break the MP experience in NZ.
I played on normal and beat it in just over 6 hours, died about 3 times. Too much ammo and health make it a walk in the park.
If you want the game for single player then rent or buy second hand.
