You might want to wait and see. There were many supposed exclusives on PSP that made their way to the PS3.
GA may just be a timed exclusive on the PSV.
Well, I beat the single player over a weekend disagree so that's your theory blown.
Well, this is another reason I'm not interested in the Vita. No way in hell I can afford one let alone 3 as I know my two boys would want one also. Sharing is not an option unless you don't care about your own stats.
Anyway, let Sony convince us all that this is all for the best. I mean, rumble is last gen, HD gaming starts with the PS3, only pirates need more than 2 activated systems.
I would class Gears more of a shooter than Uncharted any day of the week. Gears is a bruit force brawler that relies on firepower. Uncharted has way more puzzle and platforming elements.
Both are great games so who cares what ended up in what list (or not).
I thought Crysis on PSN both played and looked better than R3.
To me its more the gamer and not the games that differentiates casual and hardcore.
The one for Android is equally useless.
Agreed however, if their DLC model for this is as bad as that used for Dirt 3 I'll be giving the game a miss. It seemed like in D3 that every second event or car was paid DLC.
Looks like generic hack'n'slash dribble but set in the MGS universe. I especially hate the way the attacks caused no visible damage until the final kill slices.
I never rush in to buy straight away. Its too risky and if the thing fails to take off you can expect significant price drops and bundle deals mid next year.
Eyetoy, SIXAXIS, Move....nah, Sony doesn't release gimmicks.
As for the gameplay in that video, could easily see it translating to a tablet or smartphone since most of the gameplay elements rely on touch controls.
but, but, but...tablets and smartphones only do casual gaming.
I agree. I'm a long time PSP owner and the Vita has no appeal to me whatsoever right now. Lack of internal storage and it won't slip into my pocket with wired headphones because of the placement of the headphone socket. It also doesn't appear to have a calendar and e-mail function that I can sync with my work e-mail/appointments.
My requirements have matured beyond gaming and I'm one of those that need an all purpose device that I can use for work and pleas...
Yes, but a Ferrari is a status symbol. The Vita is simply a toy.
I was with you until your last comment as I'm not sure how you can say a tablet like the iPad2 "does far less".
no one is forcing us to pucker up and take our place in the chain.
I got burnt by Sony with the Go. Limited and over priced catalog on PSN then they announced bye bye to the Go around the same time as PSN was down for 6 weeks earlier this year.
Sony need to be grateful that I would be willing to buy their Vita and not the other way around. However at this stage I'm unconvinced the Vita will succeed so no plans on buying until this time next year anyway.
The true purchase price of the Vita means it will only appeal to gamers, question is, will enough gamers buy into it or will Sony need to reposition their device to appeal to a wider audience.
So the difference between hardcore games and casual games is physical controls?
Rubbish.
No, I'm not a camper and I'm not one of those that just runs around blasting. I prefer good solid teamplay and strategy.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to ensure the integrity of your stats.
