It played and looked great on PS3. Lots of wow moments in terms of the visuals.
Sales and marketing...bull$hit at its finest.
R3 falls well short of other PS3 titles in terms of visuals. Jaggies, poor character animation, no character shadow. Honestly, there are better looking multiplatform titles. Heck, after playing through Crysis on PS3 I would say that looks better.
We don't even have the video store in New Zealand as yet however, if Sony is true to form they won't make it value for money anyway when they do.
Already ordered it for my Son. As a parent I love watching my kids play these sorts of games and they love playing them.
Sick of region locked DLC. Was going to get an import copy of the game but locked DLC puts me off getting it at all. Honestly, I can import new from the UK for $34 but in NZ its over $50. We get ripped off in NZ.
Solid review and the game looks like a blast. Just out of interest, how long is single player?
Regardless of the differences its a worthy game at a steal of a price.
Funny, when I pointed out the texture pop-in in pre release PS3 rage videos PS3 fanboys claimed bull$hit. I just wish more gamers could take a step back and view things objectively.
I might get the first DMC if its on PSN but the others I can live without. Especially part 2 which even worse than 4.
You know, I would love to see a hell of a lot more exclusives that exploit the capabilities of the console. Not the handful we get each year at the moment.
Wow. A gamer getting his jollies off on a digital render. Go figure.
Where did I say that Sony was forcing anything down your throat?
All I said if you buy it all it won't be cheap.
It will still sell but at that price it definitely won't sustain launch sales numbers. Not outside of Japan anyway.
Remember how all the Sony supporters were all over Microsoft's Xbox360 strategy for having different SKUs, optional storage, etc. Now that Sony is doing the same thing offering consumers a choice it seems to be ok.
Wow, its 2006 all over again. Honestly, Sony needs to include a 2GB memory stick with the Vita or build in some storage.
Console + Game + Memory Card + Data Plan = f**king expensive. I'm sure those with the money will line up but its not going to have mass market appeal until the price drops.
Why bring RPGs into this. You were talking about the story and single player. Why was the story so amazing for you?
I really am left scratching my head when people say it had an amazing story. For me there was nothing original or special about it.
Story was nothing new, no major boss battles, linear, poor character animation, mission that was supposed to be impossible but there was so much ammo and health around the game was easy.
Its not a broken game but its all been done and seen before.
Its funny, one of the features of the Vita is remote play. You know, that thing that never took off on the PSP. Anyway, on one hand Sony fans are praising remote play and on the other they bag OnLive...go figure.
