Who cares. Just cause Namco roll an aging turd in more glitter does not mean it smells any better.
Your comment is flawed as RR is as generic as a racer gets. Would rather have Burnout or a good NFS game over RR any day of the week when it comes to an arcade racer.
As for the images...other than some nice close up texture work I'm not impressed. Overall the visuals look ok but nothing special. More bland trackside visuals (is that a cow or sheep?) and what the hell is with only having 8 cars!
To claim bf3 has great graphics after you install is a bit of an over exaggeration. Great graphics is not just about texture resolution.
Giving them away is the only way Sony can move their tablets. Solid enough device but not worth the asking price.
I would prefer it render in full 1080p @60ps without compromising on texture quality, draw distance, etc. Sony's whole HD gaming only starts with the PS3 was and still is absolute bull$hit.
Good to see Sony sometimes learn from their mistakes. The PS3 is darn right sluggish compared to the Vita. Its basically broken from an in-game perspective.
You're dead right. Sony does not have to reward those that already own the PS3. This is about rewarding those yet to buy a Vita.
Wow, to get called a fanboy cause you think 4.0 was disappointing.
I'll bet the majority of PS3 owners will not get anything from the latest update as they have no interest in the Vita. Furthermore, look at all the bull$hit stories that have been hyping people up over the past few months talking about what 4.0 might be.
I knew 4.0 would amount to nothing as it directly follows the pattern Sony used for the PSP. Look at the updates for the PSP over t...
Started out there till the second one died on me. What, just cause its got Sony's name on it you take to your knees and pucker up?
Yeah, no reason to complain. The last update reduced the number of activated systems from 5 to 2.
People expect more for their updates especially the major updates regardless if they are free or not. The whole "free" argument is bull$hit. I have spent my hard earned money and put lots of my time into the PS3 so its not wrong to have expectations. If Sony doesn't deliver what consumers want/expect then consumers will move onto another brand.

Wow, an update that's for Vita owners....great.
Honestly, Sony is saving the good stuff for the PS4. All we get is security updates and features that support other revenue streams. Gone are the days of really cool new features to say thanks to those that have stuck in there with ps3 since the beginning. I think we've lost more than we've gained over the past couple of years.
PS3 is a sunset system so don't expect anything really great from now on. They'll be saving that for the PS4.
Controllers are a complete rip off but a real cash cow for Sony. Why would would they want to miss out on all that revenue by allowing you to use your ps3 controller with the ps4.
I'm sure Sony will come up with some feature or spin to justify why the ps3 controller will be incompatible with the ps4. Remember how they tried to say force feedback was last gen when it was absent from tbe original ps3 controller.
After playing through the game on PS3 I can't understand how anyone could rate the graphics any higher than 7/10 and that's for single player.
The visuals make it a completely different game on PC.
Bet you anything they start positiong it as being more than a gaming device if sales flatten out too soon after its release.
You also buy their failed PSP Go, their soon to fail Reader and Sony tablet?
If you go for a 3g model, 16gb memory card and a game then in New Zealand you likely wont see change from $800. Thats without buying a data plan.
Puts the Vita in a similar price bracket as the Galaxy II S and iPhone 4s and is more expensive than many 16gb, 10.1" tablets.
Gamers (with money) after the best handheld gaming experience will snap it up but everyone else will probably go with another more general purpose device. I personally will wait a...
yeah, cause only mature gamers play B3.
I'm sure there are enough cut scenes from the MGS games over the years to make a trilogy of movies.
look how long Sony supporters have been pointing out the price of the 360 Hdd and the need to buy extra storage for the arcade 360. Now Sony does something similar with the Vita its ok.
Personally I'm not interested in the Vita until it has built in storage. That was definitely one of the things they got right with the go.
