The visuals and gameplay are as good or better than R3. At the price its almost a must have.
I think the game is a little better than a 7.5 however, I rate the recent Crysis better than R3.
What utter rubbish. You play games you're a gamer period. The distinction comes down to whether or not your a casual, harcore or professional gamer.
What next, because someone lives in a 3rd world country it does not make them human?
So easy to discriminate just because they don't play the same games as you.
To be honest I'd rather that than the artificial looking crowds/spectators they put in. The worst I have seen in a while had to be those in Dirt 3. They are so bad they stand out like a sore thumb which pulls me out of the experience.
I've not seen a racing game yet that features convincing on-lookers scattered around the track. Mind you, would rather they dedicate the resources used to render and animate spectators on other aspects of racing games.
My scores for this game on PS3:
- Gfx: 8.5/10
- Sfx: 9.0/10
- Gameplay: 9.0/10
- Value: 9.0/10
If you have access to the PS store and a spare 4gb on your HDD then this game is a must. Its easily one of the best fps games to come out on the PS3 this year!
I purchased this for PS3 and its easily the best FPS I've played this year on a console. We're lucky it was released and at such an attractive price.
Too damned short as you know experienced games will come in under that.
Let the baby have his fun. Anyway, another solid entry in the Forza franchise. Certainly evolved a lot since the days of the original xbox.
Why is GOTY so Important to you?
I swear, everytime a set of shots for an exclusive are published people start yelling GOTY from the rafters.
Most of the spec update looks great but they should have left the "simplified" cockpit views to the PSP.
I'm not concerned about development time or how many worked on it. I'm more concerned about whether or not its fun and good value for money.
I don't play games just for the sake of playing them. I play to be entertained.
Its not all doom and gloom but I'm betting Dice and EA were not expecting such a negative reaction from console owners.
Solid game made even better with the Fury add on.
@wannagethigh:
I can understand where console owners are coming from. Both consoles have titles that look vastly better than what is seen in the BF3 beta. This is also the twilight of both consoles when developers should know how to exploit every ounce of there respective strengths. Dice have also made statements about pushing the PS3 to its limits. Yet here we have a beta that would have looked good if it had been releases 2-3 years ago.
I was not ex...
@gamingdroid. Welcome to the internet and freedom of speech. Rather that than only allowing a select few to share an opinion.
I find it real hard to go back and play previous gen games. When I do I sure as hell don't try getting through them again as I don't see the point.
Thank goodness the whole game is not controlled via the screen.
R3 was no graphical powerhouse. Jaggies, framerste drops, no player shadow and some of the worst character animation seen in an exclusive release on the PS3. However, it was so linear and generic that it it felt like it had been done before. And what was up with the gun with unlimmited ammo at the end.
R3 was solid but falls well short of other PS3 exclusives.
