This game was dull, dull, dull. Ok visuals but the gameplay is stuck in the 90's along with the original.

I'll bet you anything the next iPhone wipes the floor with the Vita in terms of sales.

8/10 seems right to me having almost finished the game. Like KZ2 (and 3 for that matter) it does nothing new, is heavily scripted yet is still fun to play.

I would say that:
- a lack of games
- word of the 3D giving kids headaches
- short battery life
would be making consumers think twice about a 3DS purchase for their kids. And if you dont think Nintendo is worried then obviously you have not been following analyst predictions and a drop of 46% of their share price since the beginning of this year. You take away the 3 from the 3DS and you basically have a DS+. If it were not for the Nintendo brand and some key...

If Sony were not concerned about the battery life of the vita then this would never have been announced. The casual gamer/consumer who is not swayed by talk of quad core will be swayed when they hear things like having to buy memory cards and 3 hour battery life.

Because, all of the games in your opening line can be played without Move.

Where the hell are all the Move only games! Where is Sports Champions 2 and Start the Party 2 for kids?

The Move was just Sony's way of being able to put in tick in the box for motion control. They have not supported it just like they never supported the PSEye before Move came along.

Does it have potential, sure. Will we likely see it. Nope.

I have 3 Move and 1 Move Nav controller. None of them have been used in over 9 months. There simply are not enough Move designed games that are worth it.

You're kidding right?

You can't see the jaggies? You playing on an HD TV? Also, your player casts no shadow, your player does not even have feet, just look down when you're playing.
Poor animation also includes things like pulling levers...which for some reason your character does not. The switches just move.

However, as you can see from my original comment I also am enjoying the game play but obviously you missed that fact.

Imagine if someone released a similar optional peripheral for the IPhone and Ipod Touch. You might think "crazy" but suddenly it would open the door to a completely different gaming audience.

Could you imagine if the next gen iPhone opted for memory cards over internal storage?

The poor battery life and having to buy expensive memory cards to be able to use the device for music, video, PS store downloads will put all but hardcore portable gamers off.

Game is pretty good but...the graphics. They are nowhere near Killzone 2 let alone Killzone 3 quality. No player shadow, low res textures, jaggies, poor character animation. climb a ladder and you know what I mean.

I would rate it 7/10 for visuals but 8.75 for gameplay.

No one is doubting that the PSP and Vita offer a different gaming experience. Question is, what type of numbers are needed to make it an experience worth investing in ongoing from a developers and Sony point of view.

More people casual game when on the go. The Vita, while it will casual game, wont do it as well as multi purpose tablet and smartphone devices.

I recently went from a PSP to a tablet and have not looked back. The Vita, whilst technically impre...

Sony got it right with the Go by having internal storage and the option to use a memory card. Basically you can't purchase or download anything off the PS store till you buy a memory card.

I will wait to see how the Vita is looking after 12 months before I decide one way or the other. I got burnt with the Go so wont fall into that trap again.

I've owned 4 PSP and have been following the Vita since it was announced. I'm not convinced the Vita will succeed as yet. Doing hardcore gaming simply is not enough in today's portable market place. I don't expect hardcore gamers or those older than school age to agree but its a fact.

All you say may be true about the hardware and screen but sit the Vita next to a serious smartphone or tablet and it still looks like a toy. I dare say picking one up will ...

What in that video said it was focused towards gaming? The music and video player looked average and if you think otherwise then you've never owned a smartphone or tablet.

I would not try and sell Vita based on its non gaming abilities as they'll get murdered in the marketplace. I'll bet you anything my tablet will still have better video support than the Vita when the Vita is released and the model tablet I have was released last October.

Ok, nothing really new in that video if you own a smartphone or tablet. Not sure that the interface matches up to Android or iOS either. Sure its nice but nothing about it had that "wow" factor, maybe its because I'm use to that kind of interface having owned a tablet for the past 5 months.

Sony need to clearly identify who the target audience is for the Vita. There is no point positioning this too much toward the casual audience (i.e. focusing too much on no...

Yeh, I made a comment about Nintendo not learning from Sony's mistake and only having a single joystick when images of the 3ds first surfaced and Nintendo fanboys shot me down. Well, to all of you Nintendo fanboys what do you think now?

This is as bad as Sega releasing the CD add on for their console back in the early 90's. That is, it shows a real lack of vision and firefighting at the same time.

Regardless of what we may or may not think about the 3ds, Nintendo needs to turn things around. Their share price has fallen 46% so far this year and investors are not convinced of the wii-u or the recently announced 3ds line up.

Nintendo is mainly about casual gaming which served them well in recent years. However, that casual gaming experience is also available on more general purpose devices.

Nintendo, like Sony, need to appreciate the market is complet...

I am constantly being amazed at what people can come up with using the LBP2 editor. Someone needs to publish a how to guide.
