Sony wont do much now with the PS3. Too close to a PS4.
One thing is for sure, the new PS Store icons are butt ugly. Terrible plain white icons that look like clip art from the 80's.
The Vita's browser looks like an improvement over that on the PSP but it's no Dolphin.
I just pre-ordered the game. Is it true that you have to buy an on-line pass or does one come with the game? Also, anyone know if the on-line pass is region locked to the game?
I live in NZ but ordered a copy of the game from the UK.
To be honest, the whole on-line pass trend is just plain discusting. The fact that I need to buy separate passes for different accounts on the same PS3 is plain wrong.
Fantastic!
My kids love this game and I love watching them play it.
I had almost written this game off based on the MP beta, I simply didn't enjoy it. However, the single player looks so damned good I'm going to pick this game up. I love the last man standing look and feel about the game.
I just hope it does not mean jaggy central like BC2. Great game but can't believe the lack of aliasing on PS3.
What video formats will it support?
The psp's media capabilities were neglected by Sony. After all these years you still can't create playlists directly on the device, no cross fading, only 5 preset equaliser settings.
A great example of what the Vita's music playback should be like is PowerAmp on Android.
This game needed more time to cook. It could have so easily been tripple-A but now it will get relegated to bargain before xmas.
I loved the whole hi-def gaming only starts with the PS3.
Marketing and bull$hit are one in the same.
I loved R1 and R2 multiplayer, especially the co-op in R2. I simply did not enjoy R3 multiplayer. It felt like COD (of new) meets Halo and was all about rewarding players for running and gunning. However, the visuals were fantastic.
GT5 is a real mixed bag in terms of visuals. Sometimes its looks great and other times it leaves you wanting. Terrible shadow effects, some real bad reflections (lights at night), rain effects are sub par. Small things but they stand out like a sore thumb as they dont match the quality of the other visuals.
Next gen what I hope to see:
Less f**king paid DLC and more support to fix bugs and strengthen the gameplay. Sick of "light" patching to make it seem like publishers actually give a damn when all they care about is the next round of paid DLC.
I loved Cod2 and 4 mp but since playing battlefield I can't go back. I am so use to destructable environments now that anything less makes the game seem to linear.
Come on Sony, custom avatars already.
Its decisions like this that make me wonder if Sony have a clue about consumers anymore. Their tablet designs are average with the clam shell one just being plain rubbish.
As for the price, you have to use less plastic if you want to convince the consumer they are getting quality.
I have no problem with Vita being more about gaming but will that appeal to a wide enough audience?
Yeah, I'm sure Nintendo was there first with something similar many years ago.
@Biggest.
Thanks, that's the answer I was looking for. I dont understand your stealth troll comment as I was asking a genuine question. If your too f**kling stupid to be able to tell the different then do the world a favor and f**k the hell off.
