...how good GT4:P looks on a 1080i display?
I downloaded some of the 1080p videos off of PSN and they looked terrible being downscaled to my 1080i display.
...looks set to be the better console version of the game now that its been revealed it will get mod support. Its just a shame it could not have been released earlier since we're all about to jump into some GTAIV action.
...if it was a 10 map pack for $10 but 4 maps and 2 of which don't really interest me????
Sorry IW, these 4 maps and the delays means my money is going elsewhere.
...IW can go to hell for releasing the maps late and also for releasing COD4 with the crappiest lobby system ever. New maps won't change the fact that I am connected to 20-30 games per night where my connection is 1 red bar!!!!
I challenge anyone from IW to come to New Zealand and see just how sh*t their lobby system makes the game.
...Just going to wait for the full game to be released instead of pi**sing around with downloading a patch for a demo on the day the demo was released. I have tried 17 times to download the patch but each time has resulted in error. The demo has now been deleted off my PS3.

It really annoys me that I am forced to download a patch to run a demo the very day the demo was released on PSN. By the way, after 3 hours I still have not managed to get 1% of the patch downloaded!!!!

RE5 looks set to blow RE4 out of the water. Some of the in-game footage looked incredible and I can see this will definately need to be rated-R to ensure it remains an adult experience.
...I wish this would come out on the PS3 as I'm an avid fan of shoot-em-ups. This to me looks to be the best game of this type to be released in a loooooong time on a console.
...Sega Rally Revo was dire. If you're going to release a rally game after the competition (i.e. DIRT) then it has to be better. SRR was nowhere near as good as DIRT.
However, I still regard Rallisport Challenge 2 as the best arcade rally game yet and SRR didn't even come close to matching it. If RS3 were to have been released by now I never would have sold the 360 for my PS3.
...was great fun and the sequel was even better. There are a few Team 17 games that should be given the treatment. However, I would love to see the Cinemaware classic "Wings" get a full next-gen makeover. Sure we have dogfights in Warhawk but to me it still is not as much fun as it was in Wings.

I use RPD (you need to when you end up in so many games where you have such a poor connection) and the following perks:
- Deep Impact
- Hitting Power (I think that's what its called).

How should they change it:
1. If you have thrown all your granades then you should not have any left for martyrdom. That is, you want to be able to use your martyrdom perk then make sure you keep 1 granade in reserve.

...Comparing Wii against 360/PS3 is about as pointless as comparing Commodore 64 graphics against those on a ZX Spectrum.
What should be of more concern is if this game will be good on any of the consoles. I'm guessing not.
...needs a major overhaul. Gears didn't really require much problem solving to beat the AI. One sequence in particular was when you had to blow up gas tanks to illuminate the area so you could stay in the light. If the AI had been better the locust would have worked out what you were doing and come up underneath the gas bottles and removed them from the environment.
Also, no more ammo and weapons lying around to just walkover. You should have to search dead corpses or downe...
...I love top down or side scrolling shooters. I grew up on them and this one looks fantastic. Now I only wish they would bring this to the PS3...or release something equally as good.

...a 2nd hand (fat) PSP with 3 games (Burnout, tekken and GTA: Vice City Stories) for $200 NZD. Also came with a 1GB memory stick and protective case.
Sure, its not the slim model but it was a real good deal as it was in as new condition. And now being able to remotely access my PS3 is just the icing on the cake. If you own a PS3 thats hooked up to the internet then you should also get yourself a PSP.

I have gone completely off COD4 as I'm sick of ending up in games where my connection is 1 red bar (what does that mean anyway???), I mean, who would willingly chose to play a game if they knew they were going to have a 1 red bar connection before it started???
On the flipside, I'm sick of people joining my games where they have a 1 red bar connection to me...
...what the game looks like on a non-native 1080i or 1080p display? My HD-TV, like many millions of others I dare say, only has a native resolution of 1366 x 768. Does the downscaling to such a resolution result in some major jaggies?
