...this guy was one of the people who helped push "Turok" over that 1 million mark.

Goes to show that not enough people have access to the internet to download the demo. If they had they never would have purchased the game.

The previous Turok (Evolution) on last-gen consoles was absolutely dire. People need to start doing research before wasting money on a game that should have been made illegal for being so bad in the first place.

The local on-line auction site is littered with people trying to offload this rubbish at almost half of what they...

...some of the new features look brilliant. Gears of War was a real love / hate relationship for me. I loved the game - visually it was stunning. Big chunky characters, smooth framerates, epic environments. Unfortunately I hated the on-line play because of extreme lag and host advantage.

If they incoroprated the enhancements in the tech demo to Gears of War 2 then GOW2 will easily be the best looking game on a console. To be honest, GOW is still an amazing looking game. ...

Console owners of COD4 that is. COD4 has one of the worst f**king lobby systems for a next-gen game. Really, who would chose to join a game where your connection to the host will be 1 red bar. Who would also chose to rejoin that game a record 16 times after quiting.

I can only speculate as to why Infinity Ward decided to wrap such a magnificent game in such a dogs turd of a lobby system. Maybe there was not room on the DVD for the 360 version so they opted for a space savin...

...ut in something to stop spawn killing. I gave up playing as there where too many people spawn killing which for me, just makes a mockery out of a game thats all about on-line play.

I gave the game about 8 hours but it still has not hooked me in. I am still an avid fan of COD4 and that is not likely to change anytime soon when it comes to playing on-line.

Warhawk should be provided as a demo so consumers could try before they buy. There is no excuse for not ...

...car handling in the GT franshise is sublime but when it comes to damage and collision modeling it is not even as advanced as driving bumper cars at a fair.

They typically release 2 GTs per generation of Playstation so I wonder if GT6 will be the first GT that really starts to push the boundaries of collision, off track racing and damage modeling. Yes, I know damage is promised for GT5 but I have not seen anything about it yet. If its like Forza 2 damage modeling then it is...

...GT5 looks brilliant. I just wish:

1. That you could drive off the track and not have a plastic tape or wire fence stop you. I still think they should have upped the ante for this as this was the way it was on GT1, 2, 3 and 4. I could understand why it was that way on previous gen versions of GT because of technology constraints but really, I thought the Cell could offer a lot more breathing room for developers.

2. As with Forza 2 I hate the animatronic sp...

...make sure you get it with at least a 4GB memory card.

Even though the connectivity between PSP and PS3 is sublime it does not make for great real-time streaming of media over the internet as you are limited by bandwidth, etc. However, being able to remotely switch on your PS3, download content, etc is sheer brilliant.

My PS3 is in the lounge so it shares the main TV. Nothing like being able to use it whilst everyone is watching TV shows. All it needs is...

At what point do you say XBL is too expensive for what you are getting?

...because there was no way I was going to pay a monthly fee for everyone (i.e. my children) in my house that want to take console gaming on-line.

XBL was a great service however, the costing model just was not an option in my house. However, since joining PSN I can't say I have any complaints. COD4 is the same experience on-line and I love the way I no longer have to be logged into XBL to play downloaded games (I had purchased a second 360 after selling my first one).

Umm, it was Sony's fault that there was a lawsuit. They breached a copyright/patent agreement. If there had not been such an outcry for rumble after the PS3 was released then Sony never would have settled to (finally) include rumble in the PS3 controller.

I may be wrong - I certainly hope so.

Just tried playing COD4 and no message saying a newer version is available. Wondering when it will be available in this part of the world...

Oh yes, I just hope the fix for scopes/sniping don't mean a huge increase in the number of snipers in the game. All the maps are far too small for snipers - takes f**k all skill to camp somewhere and take potshots at people especially when you dont have to factor in gravity or wind. I wish IW also made it so you could only have 1 snipe...

Actually, lack of Rumble is Sony's fault. If they had released rumble from day 1 for the PS3 instead of the much hyped but utterly useless sixaxis nonsense, then COD4 would probably have supported rumble from day 1 also on the PS3.

...still won't improve the lobby system. How many times have you joined a lobby or game and only get 1 red bar. Most nights I spend 60 mins finding a suitable game for ever 20 mins of actual playing. I should send the bill for wear and tear on my PS3 to IW for all the reloading I have to do!

In short, COD4 best on-line game wrapped in a dogs turd of a lobby system.

Must admit, after I got my first kill I was ranked some 320,000th on the leaderboards. COD4 has blitzed this game!

...The game failed to capture my attention. Gave it a go for a couple of weeks but I really cannot see why people find it fun. The graphics don't really do the PS3 justice and the gameplay often results in rampant spawn killing.

Biggest annoyance - is that I did not read the fine print before purchasing the downloadable version. Basically meant that only I could play it as everyone would have to use my account to play it. Has to be the worst example since the IPod of DRM. ...
