I understand where you are coming from and what you mean. What you mean isn't hurtful at all because you are trying to say that sexuality shouldn't matter in the gaming community. The only thing that should matter is what sort of games you are into and the fact that you like games at all. Unfortunately, the reality is that sexuality does matter and a lot of people can't be themselves because of fear of being targeted by other gamers.
If you have ever been in a co...
I blame gamers that buy these games rather than taking a stance and not buying them.
It's easy to point the finger at EA and undoubtedly they are partially responsible. But lets not forget all the hatred they received from the gaming community. They where practically crucified by morons on the internet who sent them death threats, harassing comments, and mountains of hate mail over a poor ending in ME3. Gamers treated Bioware like shit. Even after they tried their best to please customers they still got a ton of shit. Funny how everyone forgot all the hatred the gaming co...
I apologize for the personal attack, but I am just tired of seeing a good company like Bioware that tries to push the gaming industry forward being crucified over small stuff. The character development and the inclusion of the ability to play as a gay or lesbian character is a truly bold statement. So many other companies shy away from the issue of gender and sexuality, but Bioware embraces this issue and tackles it head on. Yet the gamers give them so much hatred because of 2 or 3 games with...
A truly sad they in the video game industry. I wish both of the doctors well.
You and all those like you disgust me. Two great visionaries are leaving the game industry, in part because of losers like you. This is nothing to be happy about, if anything the doctors where the only ones stopping EA Bioware from completely losing it's soul. Enjoy your day 1 dlc from now on out you whiny, entitled loser.
I rented Skyrim for ps3 and played it for 80 hours. The game is good, but there where so many technical issues that it wasn't even funny. Fortunately, I had a 360 so I brought Skyrim for that console. I pretty much knew early on that Bethesda would screw over ps3 gamers like usual. This practice of their is really unacceptable and I feel sorry for anyone who brought Skyrim for ps3 and your outrage is completely justified.
It's sad that things turn out that way because the idea of chatting with random gamers could be really fun and bring back that feeling of being in the arcade talking to folks about games.
I am glad to see that there are a few people on n4g that can see things clearly. So many people let the fact that Nintendo is making the WiiU get in their way that they don't see what the actual console is about. I can understand the bitterness and resentment to a point, but to close your eyes and mind to the truth is just sad. I am glad Nintendo is doing what they need to do to force people to open their eyes and hopefully later on their minds.
I never brought a Wii beca...
Honestly, after all my time on the 360 and ps3 I don't care about chatting to random people because most of the time they turn out to be racist, sexist, homophobic assholes. I don't want to speak to anyone on ps3, I have a headset for 360 specifically so I don't have to hear people speak through my tv when you can't mute them, and I talk to my friends on skype. Back when the 360 launched the idea of talking to other people was awesome, but today the idea disgusts me. For all I...
Please don't screw up this game.
Sony and Microsoft had better be worried about how much they charge consumers for their ps4/720. There is no way I am paying $500 to $600 for a console. I didn't buy the ps3 when it was $600 and I am not going to buy any next gen consoles for that price. At a certain point it is just better to invest in a gaming computer, when you cross the $500 line you are at that point.
If anything this shows exactly why Nintendo picked this art style. The point was that this art style will look good on a HDtv even if it is just a Wii game. We know the specs of the WiiU, people can stop trying to pretend like it's not more powerful than 360/ps3 now. So much stupidity and pettiness from all these fanboys.
If Diablo 3 taught us anything than we should know that releasing this type of game before it is ready is a huge mistake. Sells for Diablo 3 are amazing, but the amount hatred it has received because it was rushed, despite 7 years of development, has completely tarnished the franchise.
Torchlight 2 is only $20. The game has enough hype and promotion that it will sell well. And don't forget that people have been pre-ordering this game for a long time now. A lot of people have been looking forward to this game, it's not going to get buried and by being a few days behind Borderlands 2 the game will catch people while they are already in a spending mood. For example, I am gameflying Borderlands 2 and with my discount it only costs me $40, with the other $20 I will buy T...
First off, I agree with you. I would point out that E3 2013 will only be about 6 to 7 months after the WiiU is released, so my prediction isn't wrong. Also, you are correct about the longer they wait the better tech they can deliver for a cheaper price. With all that said, I don't see Sony or Microsoft allowing Nintendo to have a year lead head start on them with no announcement of their new systems.
If you recall, Microsoft had a year head start on Sony and they neve...
Keep in mind that the WiiU is releasing a week or so before Black Friday. This means that Nintendo will have enough units to meet the initial demand and to meet the Black Friday demand. This console is going to sell insanely. Also, playing the shortage angle would be a bad move because ps4/720 news is going to be coming within months of the WiiU being released. Nintendo has a short window to capitalize on sells, so I doubt we will see console shortages.
That's exactly why I don't trust reviews anymore.
Sounds like a good start anyways.
Just keep an open mind and continue to look and see if there are games you like on the console. I never brought a Wii because I didn't see enough stuff I liked early on and now I am just waiting on the WiiU.
